I really like these hooks, they are solid brass, not painted so they will hold up great and will look better and better as they age. I also found them very easy to install. The screws they come with are about an inch in length, but Home Depot also has shorter brass screws you can purchase if you are putting these hooks into something thinner than that. The only issue I saw with these were the holes that came pre-drilled in the hooks were kind of uneven and the screw on the left side poked out beyond the edge. But they still look pretty good! All in all I think these hooks are great for the price and much more heavy duty than other similar hooks.

Fantastic coat hooks! I love the oil rubbed bronze color, but honestly they look almost black to me. I put them on some shelves that I made and they look fantastic! If you are staining the shelf that you are putting these on they will look perfect and they go very well with darker stains, I also put them on a grey shelf and they look pretty great. They seem very strong and have a higher weight rating than other cheaper hooks, and for us we hang up heavy coats and purses on these hooks all the time and I would rather have stronger hooks that are a little bit more expensive and never have to worry about them.

These satin brass hooks look great. If you are going for a minimalist look or just need a few hooks to add on the back of a door or inside a closet and want something in satin brass to go along with the rest of your decor, these are great. They are heavy for their size and seem like they will hold up well. As you can see from the pictures they also come with matching brass screws.

I needed to find a way to optimize space in broom closet. I found these good looking hooks at Home Depot and the overall size is great for what I needed. I liked the satin finish on the brass hooks. I’m not fond of the bright shiny brass look. Because it’s in the kitchen area, I used the same hard birch wood as that kitchen cabinets. I found that I had to pre-drill the holes for mounting the hooks to the wood. I broke 1 screw and stripped another. The screws weren’t the hardness that I expected. I did find a replacement screw in my junk draw. That is why I rated it lower. I hope Home Depot has the manufacturer put harder screws as a replacement.

These hooks are perfect for what I need them for. I will be using them to hang towels and an apron in my kitchen. They are well worth it. It is a true case of getting what you pay for. You can feel the quality and heft in these hooks compared to the cheaper options out there. Installation is a little tricky: the screws are very long, much longer than I expected, so it was a lot of work screwing them in gently so as not to damage the white paint finish. I would recommend hand screwing rather than anything electric.

These wall hooks are strong and they look great. Because they are white, they coordinate well with a variety of color schemes and personal decorating styles. It's also nice that these hooks come in a pack of 6. The only thing I didn't love was that there was only one length of screw. The screws were long enough to go through drywall and into a stud or molly, but for the application I used it for, a 3/4 inch screw would have been great, because then the screws would not protrude through the back of the hat rack I built. (I mounted the hooks to a 3/4 slab of barnboard.)

There's no such thing as too many coat hooks so we wanted to build another coat rack. In Indiana, you never know if you need a hoodie, a light jacket, a winter coat, or it's-freaking-cold winter gear. These hooks are more than sturdy enough for the heaviest of winter coats. We have a completed coat rack with brass hooks, but these Chrome Wall Hooks are MUCH better! These install easily on 7/8" board and remain tight.

These are small black hooks with a slim profile. Sometimes you need a smaller hook for your installation. If so, these fit the bill nicely. They are small and less conspicuous than most handy hooks. They are also more of a flat matte finish which also is different than many hooks on the market. Even though they are smaller they are built well and can handle heavy coats, pocket books, etc. I use then in the kitchen where they go nicely with our decor and stainless appliances and in closets for organizing items less often used or seasonal items. I ordered these hooks for my hay room. I had a really flimsy hook set that just hung on the divider between the hay room and the first stall, and it needed replaced. The hooks were easy to install using a drill bit to start the holes and a driver bit in my drill to put the screws most of the way in. Just finished up with a Phillips screwdriver. I should have done a neater job, but it was cold out and I was in a hurry. Still looks (and is) better than the old hooks. One note, if you start the screw that is closest to the hook first, it is much easier as you can move the hook out of the way for the drill.
