Q:How far off of the wall does it hang? Can you provide a end view of it hanging on the wall? Is there room for casing and if so how thick?

    Answer This Question

A:  Hi Jerry, Thank you for your question. The space between the wall and door is 3/4". We aren't able to post pictures on this response board. We don't have the option to do so or else we would to show you the end view. There is room for casing as long as it's not more than 3/4" thick. Feel free to email us with any further questions. info@dogberrycollections.com Dogberry Collections

      Answer This Question

A:  No, the track is only long enough for one door to open and close.

      by|Dec 10, 2019

A:  Hi Erika, Thank you for your question. If you are ordering two separate doors, you will receive two separate sets of hardware which means you will receive two tracks. To make it work for both doors you will want to use both tracks and join them together with a splice plate. This gives plenty of room for the double door set up to glide back and forth. Q:How wide does the header need to be, would a pine 2"X4" work?

          Answer This Question

A:  Hi Brooke, Thank you for your question! You can use a pine 2 X 4 to make the header board. The width should work fine. I would suggest pre drilling the holes into the header board where you plan to put in the screws to avoid any potential wood splitting as you screw in the screws. Dogberry Collections

Q:Does door come with 1/4 x 3/4 notch in bottom of door for floor guide?

              Answer This Question

A:  Hi Bert, No it does not come with the notch in the bottom of the door but we have came up with a different solution that doesn't require the notch. We provide what's called a "u channel" in the door order. With the U channel, it is a simpler and easier to install part that still gives the door a floor guide. Feel free to email us for the visual instructions on how this looks and functions. info@dogberrycollections.com Dogberry Collections

A:  Yes, this unit can be placed over a carpet.

                  by|Oct 26, 2018

A:  Hello, Yes this can be placed over carpet. The door hardware will need to be mounted properly on the door and wall in order for the door to be suspended above the carpet for it to glide back and forth properly. I hope this answers your question. Dogberry Collections

A:  Hi Julie, No it does not matter which way you hang the door. It's all personal preference. So if you are wanting it to be on the opposite side rather than what you see in the pictures, you can do that. Dogberry Collections

A:  Hello, All of our doors come with a standard set of hardware. You don't have to use the hardware that comes with it. As far as by pass hardware goes, you will need to purchase this from a third party supplier. Dogberry Collections
