Q:How do I dispose of the Benzomatic 14.1 oz propane canister in Baltimore City Maryland?

Answer This Question

A:  Many cities have a place you can take small propane tanks, paint, etc. It is hazardous household waste. They won't pick it up. I just searched for Baltimore City, and it looks like there is one at 2840 Sisson St. (410) 396-6070 until October sometime.

A:  Do not hold flame to doorlocks, use it to heat the key instead. Door have plastic components that might melt or burn. If your keys are with plastic too, just heat the tip of it, it doesn't have to be red glowing in just warm. Be careful, good luck.

A:  I would not put a flame to my car.  But perhaps I have an advantage.  I can start my car without opening the door.  I leave it run for 5 minutes or so and I can get into the car.  Sorry, I would be careful with the flame.

A:  They don’t take the old ones back. To dispose of the old one you need to check with your county for proper disposal avenues. You just buy the new one.
