A:  Hi Rhonda, thanks for your question. Our dishwashers use a condensation drying process; this process uses the heat and steam built up during the wash cycle to dry the dishes. After the cycle, the heat and steam are naturally drawn to the stainless steel surfaces of the dishwasher as they are the coolest part of the unit. This freshly condensed water will collect in the bottom of the dishwasher as part of the unit’s design and will be flushed out at the start of the next wash cycle.
