A:  Bosch recommends 34.5" minimum, although you could probably squeeze it in a slightly smaller space. But not much. Maximum is around 35. If you don't have 34 inches or so, Bosch makes a slightly shorter dishwasher.

A:  Hi rony, thanks for your question. The door does not have a locking mechanism while running, but this unit does feature the InfoLight to let you know the cycle is running. While running, the InfoLight will shine on the floor and once the cycle has finished, the light will go out along with the cycle completion signal.
