Answer This Question

A: Frank, all I know for sure is that Delta will send parts as needed for their products forever, free of charge. Whether or not they will send you a whole new faucet, I have no idea.

A: Hi, Frank. If you check this Warranty Guide by Delta. It says here: LIFETIME FAUCET AND FINISH LIMITED WARRANTY All parts and finishes of the Delta faucet are warranted to the "original consumer purchaser" to be free from defects in material and workmanship for as long as the "original consumer purchaser owns their home". This warranty excludes all industrial, commercial, and business usage, whose purchasers are hereby extended a five-year limited warranty from the date of purchase, with all other terms of this warranty applying except the duration of the warranty. But take note of this as well This warranty is extensive in that it covers replacement of all defective parts and even finish, but these are the only two things that are covered. LABOR CHARGES AND/OR DAMAGE INCURRED IN INSTALLATION, REPAIR, OR REPLACEMENT AS WELL AS ANY OTHER KIND OF LOSS OR DAMAGES ARE EXCLUDED. Hope this helps!

A: It contains what you see in the picture plus the hardware to mount it to your sink and install the drain plug. You will need connection hoses and any plumbing or p traps that continue on from there.

A: I'm not real sure which of many faucets is the base for your inquiry. Typically, the faucet, drain hardware and stopper are included in a set; however, this may vary by manufacturer. You likely will also need the connection hoses to the plumbing. To get the best answer to your question go to Home Depot.com and look up the specific faucet you are asking about. You will find specific detail there about contents of the faucet kit, tools needed and other information.

A: Hi, Tomaspol! Thank you for your question. The B2511LF-PPU-ECO does include the faucet body, handles, pop up drain assembly and hardware. This does not include the supply lines. Best Regards, Rosanna

A: B.S. It comes with a plastic tail piece but if it a new sink get the model with a metal tail piece. I am in property mgmt. and only get the one with plastic if I am only replacing the facet. Been using delta two handle faucets for 40yrs. Metal tail will out last facet. Parts to rebuild facet easy to get and do. Any hardware store has delta parts!

A: The box contained the faucet with gasket, as well as the drain (pop-up mechanism, seat, and tailpiece). You will need plumber's putty or silicone sealant. I also opted to replace the p-trap since I was replacing an old faucet.

A: Yes, it can be unscrewed using only your fingers. You won't want to use the faucet without an aerator due to spraying, but you can get it off to clean it or replace it.

It does appear in the illustration that the aerator is removable. If you can't unscrew it with finger pressure, be sure to cover the pliers jaws with cloth to avoid damaging the chrome finish. It has been my experience that all aerators are removable for cleaning purposes.

A: . Since there are different length requirements as well as different type of angle stops (valves) used, the faucet does not come with supply lines. There is usually a large selection of lines available near the faucets. Take an old one with you to match the threads on the fitting. The threads on the faucet side are all standard 1/2" pipe thread.

A: No, I bought them separately. The faucet is great, but they skimped on the drain kit. The drain tube is plastic and the pop-up rod comes with a separate thin plastic ball washer that fits inside the hole in the drain before you put the pop-up rod in. It is hard to get in position before you insert the ball rod: it leaked several times when the washer crimped after tightening. I couldn't find a washer that small so I ended up buying a new stainless drain unit, it came with both plastic washers installed, one inside where the pop-up rod goes and one inside the nut that tightens the rod to the drain.

A: Hi katibor, Thank you for your question. This unit is designed to flow at 1.2 gallons per minute. The RP61340 aerator will work with this model and flows at 1.5 GPM at 60 PSI. Best regards, Jon

After install, it is sometimes necessary to remove the aerator to remove particles caught there. This is not uncommon. The threading of the aerator is a common size should you wish to replace it.

I ordered this unit for a new vanity in our front bath and everything is great except for the Popup Center Assembly. No matter what I do, the area where the rod goes into the drain spout will not seal completely. When water is run for just a minute it begins to leak out of the area around the threaded connection that holds the rod in the pop-up drain. The ball and plastic ball seal inside the unit seem fine. It came with a second small plastic ball washer, but it is so flimsy that it won't stay in place when inserted, I have better luck without it.

A: I found a different help site after posting this. It suggested I put the small plastic ball washer on my finger and place it inside the drain unit hole first, then carefully insert the rod and tighten. It worked. I've never had this extra washer in a kit, live and learn. Thank you for providing this site, but I could call Delta or Home Depot on my own for help, I thought this site would give specifics like the site I found for DIY. Thanks again.
