A:  Any of our over-the-range microwaves will work as a replacement as they will fit in a 30" wide opening. We do recommend using the new mounting bracket and hardware that will be packaged with the new model. A:  The Cook Time button allows you to microwave from 1 second to 99 minutes and 99 seconds. To use, first press the Cook Time pad. Next, enter the cooking time (for example, for 3 minutes and 40 seconds you would hit the 3, 4, 0 pads). Lastly, press START. A:  Over-the-Range Microwave ovens cannot be used on a counter or shelf and are not UL (Underwriters Laboratory) approved for this purpose. Keep in mind the underside is not flat on an Over-the-Range Microwave and would not provide a stable surface. Additionally, there can be a heat issue, especially if the vent fan or surface lights were accidentally turned on. This model can be installed under a cabinet, even if there is not a cooking surface underneath the appliance.
