A:  Hello Aceman, First, the big hole on top is for the flush button. There could be another hole situated on the back or underside of the lid. That would be a drainage hole from the casting process, that allowed excess moisture to flow out while the part set. A:  Hello John, The bowl (ceramic only) is around 16.5" tall. With the supplied seat installed the height will be about 17.5". The toilet is designed to be compliant with the ADA standard of bowl height between 17" - 19" with seat installed. Currently, this is as tall as any in the Glacier Bay line. A:  Hello Deborah, You can adjust the water level in the tank by turning the screw on top of the fill valve; clockwise to increase & counter-clockwise to decrease. Unfortunately for the bowl, the water level is set by the weir point in the trap (highest point of the curved section in the rear of the toilet) & cannot be adjusted. If you are having issues with the flush, please call Customer Service at 1-855-434-5224 where one of our Representatives can assist you in going over some troubleshooting techniques.
