A: You need to change the frequency code on both remote and receiver. It could be that it is picking up a signal from another electrical device. You may also contact customer service at 1-877-902-5588 for assistance.

A: a neighbor might have a device on the same type remote if it continues change the code
by|May 3, 2023
A: Another remote with the same frequency would turn the light and the fan off or on. The code in the remote and the code in the fan housing can be changed by simply moving one oh the presets on both of them. Make sure they match as to which one of the four switches you change.

A: Home Depot customer service was very helpful and sent me a replacement LED kit ($46). That didn't fix the problem, so they sent me another LED kit and a new remote receiver. That didn't work either.
I troubleshot the issue to the LED Driver (Step down transformer) mounted inside the fan motor housing. Home Depot did not have this part, so they put me in touch with Hampton Bay, and they were able to get me a new LED driver ($15). Fairly simple to wire in and now the light works like it used to!
Only took 5 weeks.....

A: according to the sales person when I purchased, the 'bulb' should outlast the life of the fan. If it isn't working at all, supposedly you should contact the maker and get a replacement.
