A:  Any mobile workbench can support a top tool chest, as long as the weight capacity is not exceeded. This particular box has a height adjustable work surface that can hold 300lbs when raised. When in its lowest position, the limit increases to that of the total capacity of the mobile workbench.

A:  I see no reason you couldn't place a toolbox/chest on the top of this, but weight would be a factor for the continued ability to raise or lower the top bench. You could always add any type of raised edging you prefer to the benchtop, especially if you plan on rolling it around a lot.

A:  We do not have different slides available for this unit. They are 120 lb. rated soft-close slides. There is no specific part number. If you need to order slides, call 1-888-HD-HUSKY and provide your model number.

A:  I've never had an issue with the slides on this series of tool box... my apologies.I would try to contact the manufacturer customer service.Hope you can get a good resolution.

A:  It’s not heavey once wheels are put on  I don’t recommend taking drawers out
