A:  No, you don't have to water right after applying it. It does need water to enter the ground where the grass is rooted but it doesn't have to be done immediately.

A:  It looks like you have a nice base, just give it a try as long as you have plenty of water or an irrigation system to help. It looks like soysia grass and if it is, this product will do little once the grass changes color. :-)

A:  Hello, Ironite 1-0-1 is designed to green up foliage that has become yellow from chlorosis caused by mineral deficiencies. The product will not green up lawns that are starved for nitrogen, nor will it green up dormant or drought-stressed (brown) lawns. It will not turn an already green lawn a darker green. If you have yellowing foliage, please determine the cause before treating it. We recommend to obtain a diagnosis by taking a sample of the foliage to a full-service garden center. Thank you.

A:  Depending on your type of grass and location, this product will make the lawn a deeper green color.

A:  I use Ironite with my fertilizer and wait a week then I check to fill in areas that I’ve missed. So I don’t worry about my weeds until my grass is thick and has that deep green color then I kill all my weeds. So to answer your question, I don’t think it would do any harm to your lawn

A:  Hi Matthew. Without knowing the type of grass, how heavy the weed content is, and the soil, I would wait 2 weeks between applications. Since Ironite will promote weed growth, consider that first-followed up with the Vigaro. :-)

A:  The Ironite is a great fertilizer for the centipede grass as well as the greening up my St. Augustine grass. I like that I am able to use it without concerns of putting too much fertilizer on my centipede. The iron gives my grass the look that I desire without the worry too much nitrogen. It’s a great way for me to feed the grass and have it looking greener.

A:  Yes but since ironite comes in a glandular form and feed slowly don't mow with a leaf catcher.
