A: Hello. This alarm has to be hardwired and has to be hardwired to interconnect. You will want to return them and replace with the P4010ACS-W model 21029894 for the hardwired alarm and the P4010DCS-W model 21028753 (or 2 pack 21028749) for the battery-only devices.

A: Hello. No. System Sensors alarms attach to fire systems and fire panels. Our alarms do not. Our alarms are 120 volt 3 wire instead of low voltage 2 wire. And our alarms are residentially rated and not commercially rated.

Answer This Question
A: Hello. There is no direct replacement for your alarms. That being said, you can use any of our current alarms to replace your older alarms. You will have to take down all of the older alarms before putting up any new alarms. You will have to change out the mounting brackets at each location but that will just take a screwdriver to change out. You will either have to change out and rewire the wiring harness plugs at each location or you can choose to use the KA-F2 adaptors to adapt the old plugs to our new alarms. The adaptors would plug into the old plugs and the new alarms would plug into the adaptors.
The model for the adaptor pack is the 21028461 which includes the KA-F2 and the KA-B2 for some of the older BRK/First Alert plugs.
