A: No, this tool is not powerful enough and a cement cutting blade is not available for it. Mike
A: I am not aware of an abrasive blade available for this tool. Good luck!
A: The quick answer is yes, however, it is only 12 volts so battery life will be short. If you only had to do one or two then I would say sure but if this is something you are going to be doing a lot of then I would suggest a different tool.
A: Would not work well for that.
A: The M12 multi-tool is surprising robust cordless cutting tool and I’ve used it to cut many hard materials including very heavy metal parts. So I’m confident it could handle cutting hollow cement blocks provided suitable carbide blades are used. Many carbide blades are specifically rated for cement as well as heavy metals.
A: Yes, with the right blade a a bit of patience. The M12 is powerful enough for cuts in most materials but struggles with harder more dense materials such as thick steel > 1/8" and stone. It is possible however but don't force the tool. Let it do the work and be prepared to swap out the battery at some point before your cuts are complete. For concrete and steel, I would consider using an 18v or higher power tool.
A: I dont think so.
A: It is possible but I doubt the masonry blades would last very long cutting concrete block. They are more for tile grout etc.
A: I do not know of a blade available to do that. Even if you find one, the battery would not hold up to that kind of use. The 18 volt system would be more likely to fit the bill.
A: No, the charger is not included.
A: Tool only. As stated in title this listing comes with tool only, no battery or charger. Does come with some blades.
A: This tool, along with a host of other Milwaukee hand tools, is sold "Tool Only"! I have a collection of Milwaukee tools, both M12 and M8. Consequently, I have a charger that works for both and more than one of many of the batteries. This allows me to keep on working when one battery runs low. It is my preference to minimize the number of different chargers I have in my collection of battery operated tools and have been happy with all my Milwaukee brand.
A: It does not come with a battery charger.
A: This is a tool only and does not come with a battery or charger.
A: yes!
A: Great
A: Yes. I use mine for general automotive repairs. I have not had to mount a TV. If I had to mount a TV. I would. I am confident it would do the job.
A: While I have never used it to mount large TVs, It is very useful in tight spots that a traditional drill would be difficult to use.
A: This ratchet is a fabulous choice any time you would need a ratchet. The key benefit is that it won't over-torque bolts beyond 25 ft-lbs. You have to use the ratchet as a manual ratchet if you want to go higher than 25 ft-lbs.
A: I use it for auto repair and it works great. It only has about 30 ft lbs of torque. I am guessing you are screwing the mount to the wall ? If thats the case I would think impact driver would be a better tool but would stay with milwaukee brand. Hope this helps
A: It will work for mounting large TVs, it would not be the tool I reached for. Lags into wall stud- m12 fuel impact. Screws on back of TV hand screwdriver only.
A: It does have some decent power, but not sure how long the bolts or screws you are using and if you pre drill the holes or not. I would say it is not the best tool for that application, but it could work.
A: That would depend more on what kind of bolts your using and having to correct attachments. as the brackets and structure will be holding the weight of tv.
A: depending on screw/bolt
A: I don't think so! The maneuverability of this tool makes the prospects for a depth stop pretty impractical or limiting to other functions of the tool. This tool requires a lot of "touch" but its versatility is one of its best facets.
A: No.
A: not for the 12 volt tool, we do offer one for the 18 volt tool
A: No there is not
A: No
A: No the vibration isn't bad at all, I've never felt any discomfort using this tool.
A: vibration could be noticeable depending on the material being cut. If the material is stabilized, no movement of material you will not notice any vibration
A: its not that bad.
A: Light weight gloves are always a good idea to protect your hands, but, the vibration of the tool itself is not of much significance and I don't find it uncomfortable at all.
A: Vibration is not too bad I didn't need gloves if vibration is a concern gloves may reduce it but not necessary imo
A: I agree, but know of no alternates!
A: Buy Dremel brand blades. Install quicker.
A: no upgrades forecasted for this tool
A: I didn't find it to be cumbersome at all, I did however order a T-handle hex wrench to keep with this tool, works great and I rarely have trouble changing blades and adapters
A: about 12 inches depending on blade used
A: Toll with battery is 11" long Sanding attachment adds about 1", the blade approx 2"
A: 11 inches
A: Works fine for me. Better than my corded dremel. .
A: I have 2 M12 batteries and have never encountered any issue! The freedom of movement in some awkward positions not dealing with a cord is most advantageous.
A: Electric will always out last battery. I have a M12 and a M18 Fuel and I use the M12 more because it’s lint as heavy.
A: the M-18 would be more comparable to a corded version
A: It seems to be just as powerful as my corded tool.
A: The power is comparable to a corded version. Cordless gives so much more in the way of flexibility of use. The other part of the question I do not know specifically what you are asking but if you have a m12 set I would say get the m12 since all batteries are interchangeable. Likewise if you have an m18 go for m18. It you already have a set you can save by buying the tool only option.
A: Don't let the 12 volt fool you, this saw can do the work of the 18 volt saws & plug in tools, just not run as long. I like the fact that this is nice and small to get into tight areas. I've used it mosty to cut out openings for outside AC outlets, so it cuts super cleanly (not like a sawzall which would make a mess) With the right blade it can cut thru the siding and the plywood cleanly. I've also used it to cut a TGI wood I beam for wires & pipes. It really is designed for accurate cuts rather than speed. So if your projects only require 15-20 minutes of cutting go wi the 12V, if you plan to use it in a trade all day, go with the 18V.
A: M 18 is more comparable to the corded tool
A: I have a corded tool and have not noticed much difference in power when cutting. The battery life provides reasonable length of use. The blade gets red hot well before running out of battery.
A: No. The power is not comparable to a corded saw. However it can come in handy for small jobs.
A: I’m a DIYer so I would buy more batteries if you are a full time mechanic. I don’t know how much torque but I’ve loosened bolts that hold brake calipers in place. Hope this helps!
A: This ratchet delivers up to 35 lbs of torque.
A: Yes, I bought this for my boyfriend who is also a mechanic. He uses it daily and loves it. He did request the longer lasting battery this year for Christmas, which he did receive. He highly recommends this product.
A: the manufacturer should be able to answer that question. Customer Service 1-800-729-3878 email page https://www.milwaukeetool.com/Contact
A: The M12 12-VOLT LITHIUM-ION 3/8 IN. CORDLESS RATCHET has about the same torque as a pneumatic ratchet at 90 PSI. The head is built strong enough to allow manual ratcheting for the higher torque requirements. It is not a breaker bar. You will need a couple of batteries on hand to keep it going if you use it very frequently. You will get about 1 hour out of it with sporadic use. I have often run on one battery for a day as I only require it for disassembly/reassembly.
A: Good tool
A: 30-40 ft pounds would be my guess.
A: I use the ratchet for home projects. To get a true answer Milwaukee would have the best answer for you.
A: Its go enough torque to strip smaller bolts easily. Dosnt always have enough to break some bolts loose and I snapped the ratchet head on my last one using it to break bolts loose. It does get most bolts pretty good but I always double check with my tq wrench and its pretty close each time as long as your not expecting a lot.. Sorry I don't have a real tq number for you. I got this since I have carpel tunnel and can't sit there ratcheting by hand for long periods of time so this helps once I break stuff loose.
A: up to 35 foot pounds
A: No,this is not brushless.
A: No
A: Nope
A: yes
A: The answer is "Yes" (I just checked the Milwaukee website).
A: no
A: It says the motor is brushed in the specs
A: No
A: NO ITS NOT BRUSHLESS,ITS OLDER VERSION,, NEW ONE IS BRUSHLESS
A: No
