A:  Hello Chris- This kit features our M12 FUEL 1/4" Hex Impact Driver (3453-20). The M12 FUEL SURGE 1/4" Hex Hydraulic Driver is model number 2551-20.

        Q:It is very hard to get information about the Generations and the differences. I literally just bought the 2504-20, is the 2nd Gen to the included 3404-20? if not, what are the differences, as they appear to be identical.

        A:  3404-20 is the one included. It is a more powerful one with 400 lbs/ft of torque vs 350 in 2504-20. I am sure there are some other differences but I am not sure what those are.

          A:  3453-21 is a kit number paired with a battery and charger. 3453-20 is the bare tool itself.

            A:  Judging from the torque rating in one of the infographic images (400 in-lbs) for the drill, this should be the 3rd Gen. The 2nd Gen is 350 in-lbs. I'm pretty sure they would pair them together by generation.

                A:  No you buy this drill/driver kit and get ONE "free item" which this offer is a free M12 2.5ah battery. It's not the regular battery it's one of the newly released High Output M12 batteries. It's an $80 battery by it self so it's a valuable offer.

                    A:  Nothing sleazy or misleading, it doesn't mean you get an entire 2nd kit for free. It's never been offered that way. What you do get is Buy One Kit Get One Item Free - they pick the item which is currently a 2.5ah M12 High Output battery.
