A:  I am not 100% sure, but I used it on a cheap regular rug from Home Depot. I adhered to my laminate floor. When I had a little puppy she eventually ruined the rug. So after four months I pulled up the rug and I threw it away and the tape was still stuck to the floor in places but it was fairly easy to just use a putty knife-type of scraper to get up. And the floor was not damaged. The rug was trashed.

A:  Although the tape is not specific to this application, as long as this underlay is attached to clean dry concrete and is not the "finished surfaced" the tape will do well to hold the underlayment in place until you reach the next step. Always follow local code and specific product installation guideline.

A:  More than likely will not stick to asphalt. It will not stick to any surface that has dust, dirt, or debris.

A:  It’s meant for indoors. I used it for a play area rug for my puppy. But that was on a laminate floor. I don’t think the tape would hold up to weather like heat and cold. Might try something like roofing mastic, or construction glue/adhesive.

A:  Yes but as you know the sun will heat the asphat around witch can loosen the clue when its cools its fine but after a while iy will no longer stick.

A:  No would not recommend it. Very sticky to securing carpet to floor.

A:  This tape is more for seaming two pieces of carpet together. I wouldn't use it for that.
