Q:Is there something missing on the striker side of the lock set. I used a standard exterior know and deadbolt and on the security door side post (bar) there are two oblong holes bit nothing to mount the striker plates that came with the doorknob

Most Home Depot stores offer installation services so we suggest you speak with a mill work associate at your local store for pricing and availability. Please note that the door seal kits sometimes must be installed before the security door is hung. You should take photos of your particular entry and/or security door so that the associates can determine if the door seal kit will work in your particular application.
