This is my third purchase of the Armacost RGB+W LED Ribbon light kit. I use them for accent lighting in our motorhome, both indoors and out. The adhesive backing on the ribbon allows installation just about anywhere and the Wifi remote will work through walls and over reasonable distances. If you're looking for a quick, affordable, easy to install accent lighting system ... this is it!

I got this RibbonFlex tape light kit to install around the top of my kitchen cabinets to add a soft glow to the area and act as a nightlight. It was super easy to install. The backing peels off to reveal the sticky side. The adhesion to the drywall is excellent. I was able to use all 24 feet so I can't attest to what is it like to trim it. The remote is easy to use. The darker colors are very rich and would be excellent for holiday lighting. Since it is indoor/outdoor I plan to get another one to install around to top of my porch.

I wanted to add some lighting to my gazebo area without running a standard string of lights or chandelier. While I knew I wanted something different I could not figure out exactly what it was. Then I came across the Armacost Lighting RibbonFlex Home RGB+W Indoor/Outdoor LED Tape Light Kit, Clear. Even though I knew it wouldn’t be long enough at 24ft I decided to try it because I could always get another if I liked it or I could use it somewhere else if I didn’t. Let me start of by saying wow! This was perfect. Depending on the mood I want I can set the brightness and in all honesty I do not even need another one because this is so bright. I love the fact that I can change the color as well as the saturation of the color. The brightness goes from blindly bright to beautifully dim. There are about 40 preset effects that change the colors as well as take it from strobe to fading and everywhere in between. You can even change the speed of the special effects to suit your needs. This doesn’t just have the basic couple of colors let me tell you. There are so many combinations to have different colors and effects it is amazing. The included remote control is very easy to use as the buttons are all clearly labeled. There is a little piece to pull out that keeps the battery from draining prior to purchase. It says it works from 50 feet away and through walls though I have not tested that part as I keep the remote by our sliding glass door that leads out to the backyard. There is already adhesive tape on it so you literally just peel and stick it where you want it. Even the back of what I think is a little fuse type thing has adhesive so you can tuck it away. No more trying to figure out how to attach lights. It is super simple to put up and use right out of the box, just decide where to put it, stick it on, and plug in! If it is too long you can cut it to whatever length you need. With them being LED they should last a very long time which makes it even better. I have thought about getting additional sets for under the cabinets and maybe in my headboard. We are very happy with these!!

This Armacost RibbonFlex Home LED kit is a complete set, coming with everything needed to install. It's as easy as peeling the backing to expose the heavy duty adhesive, sticking it in place and plugging it in. No extra wiring or transformer needed. A remote control is included which allows nearly infinite adjustments to color (including various temperatures of white), brightness and blink rate. I used it under the top ledge of a rock wall to provide subtle downlighting to the wall and patio. It's an easy installation with a professional look!

The Armacost Lighting RibbonFlex LED tape light kit provides 24 feet of dual LED low profile lighting that is easy to install with the self-adhesive tape. The tape embeds one row of White and one row of multi-color RGB LEDS. A remote control turns the lights on and off and selects color and brightness. The RF remote works up to 50 feet away and doesn’t require a direct line of sight. The LED tape is powered by a 110 volt. plug in adaptor. Tape can be cut at 9 ½ inch intervals, where metal bridge connectors are placed. If cutting and splicing be sure to match polarity by following the wire indicators. Both splice and angle kits are sold separately, Connectors are available for straight and corner turns, as well as cables to bridge sections across a divide – such as between two cabinets. The full function remote can be used to select on/off, color schemes, brightness, and a range of light changing patterns – providing as wide range of combinations with 25 preset colors plus white. Light is clean and intense at maximum brightness. Remote can control multiple kits joined together. Indoor or outdoor applications makes it perfect for kitchens or decks, or even to add some flair to your garage. Kit is backed by a 2-year warranty.

This is really easy to install ambient accent lighting for any room. The double stick tape on the back face applies to almost any surface. With twenty five preset colors and forty presets of fade and strobe type with various speed rates as well as being fully dimmable. You can cut the ribbon to any size and separately purchase splicing adapters to extend your lighting. It can be used indoor and outdoors.

My grandson wanted them up in their room. Okay, cause of the wanting a light on at night. I had him to do it cause getting up in the top bunk bed wouldn't work for granny, okay. They didn't stick as good the higher up I got had to use thumb taks but they worked well. They really love the light it gives off I love its on in their room and not the hall way. It has lots of features that the kids really love. I'm going to see if they come longer I really want these on my patio with the features they have I will love while sitting outside and a nice glass of wine are just sitting out.

I am using this LED tape light to help light the front of my house. I have a recessed porch light above my front door, but the rest of the front of my house is relatively dark. I had a string of white LED Christmas-style mini lights on the front of my house, and I wanted to replace them with this LED light strip, which will be much cleaner looking and will have the bonus of being able to change colors and brightness. This LED tape light appears to be very high quality. It is clearly much better quality than any of the many generic LED light strips I've purchased online. The RF sensor for the remote is integrated with the power cord and is sealed at both ends, and the power cord to the lights is much higher quality than any of the other LED light strips I've used. The LED tape has a thin black foam adhesive on the back, which looks much higher quality than the thin double sided tape I've had on the other lights. I am curious how well the adhesive will work on the outside of my house, but just in case, I'll be putting this LED strip in an aluminum channel that I can mount on my house. One very nice feature is that the lights will turn back on when they are unplugged and plugged back in. I have an outlet on a timer that will power the lights, so this was a critical feature for me. I did several tests unplugging the lights and plugging them back in, and they turned back on every time. And interestingly, the LEDs on this tape light don't seem to get warm at all compared to other LED strips I've used. Most of the time I'll be using a warm white color, but it will be fun to be able to do orange light during Halloween or red or green light during Christmas. They look so much cleaner than the old string of Christmas lights!

These are easy up and ready to go in less than 15 minutes! The adhesive tape on the back of the light ribbon along with the anchor connection seem to hold well. I live in Phoenix, so we’ll have to see the long-term effects of the sun and heat on these light over time. The remote control uses a common 2032 battery so nothing unusual you will need there. There are several options for color and mode as well as the ability to adjust many of the settings by using the remote. They seem very bright during the day so I’m sure they should be impressive tonight when we check out the light options. I will post a video of these lights in action along with this review. If you are looking to accent your patio or any interior space these lights appear to be a good option for you!

This product looks great no matter where you place it. Be aware that one end must be inserted into a standard outlet. It especially looks good under kitchen cabinets, around bedroom windows, or on a patio. It is all worked by a remote control included. The flex ribbon makes it so easy to stick onto most surfaces. There are 25 preset colors, plus white. It can be used either inside or outside. You can cut it to a preferred size if 25 colors are too much of a display. It has a very relaxing and calming affect.

There is at best 5% color no matter what color you chosoe from the remote. The White light only gets a hint of the color you choose. Luckily I only wanted a white light but needed to be able to cut the LED strips at the lengths I wanted. FYI, you can only cut the LED strips at 12" intervals. You can't cut it where ever you want for a perfect fit

Customer service had offered a discount credit to me that still has not been issued b/c they could not replace the original purchased item within 45 days due to lack of stock. I have heard nothing but crickets every time I leave a message or send an email on the credit status. Planning to rip the stuff off and return it to the store as it since I am still 25 days in.
