Picked up a champion tiller today and assembly was simple and straight forward, seems to be well built and quality product. Especially like how they come in a wooden crate for added protection. Only complaint was the oil that is included was leaking out and made a bit of a mess in the crate. No big deal homedepot gave me a free bottle of oil and a quick wash! Runs great and super easy to use

Purchased this tiller about a month ago and used it to help regrade an are in my yard where we had an addition added to our house. I was worried how it'd do with larger rocks being mixed in the soil but this went through them no problems at all! We also did a garden and its perfect size for that too. Assembly was super easy and took about 20 minutes, this actually has good instructions! Definitely recommend this tiller to any homeowner who is looking for an affordable option!

Bought my grandparents farm and had to get trees cut down to get into it once we had that done we started planting a garden with this tiller it's very simple to use and to change the wheels to use it we had a trailer delivered and they messed up our driveway we used the tiller to smooth it out again saved our backs from having to dig we had help tilling the garden

I recently purchased this tiller (June 2024) and must say how awesome it works, does exactly what it was built to do! Having a reverse on it makes is so much easier to navigate!

This is the first new tiller that I have purchased and I am completely satisfied with the operation. Forward and reverse makes this tiller versatile in my small garden.

After the 2nd use it already fell apart! I tried to contact customer support by phone, just waiting and waiting and nobody talks to you, I contacted them on their website and I sent them an email too, haven't got an answer! I will bring this machine back where I purchased it and never buying anything from this company again!

Opened up the crate and it was pretty easy to assemble and started up on 2 pulls it now starts on first pull did the job quite well it has lots of power and is easy to use I would recommend it to anybody that needs a good tiller

This small tiller lets us get between the crops better then the big tiller, really handy to get closer weeds.

I bought this tiller in 2021 from the Home Depot already assembled. The gearbox tilling part kept coming loose from the engine housing. The clutch rod broke. The fuel gauge got sun cracked and fell into the gas tank. It was stored inside. dirt got into the tank while finishing up the garden. Customer support said tough luck, buy the parts. I ran out of space, and had to make this shorter.

My tiller gets sporadic use throughout the year and moderate use in spring and summer to recondition and aerate flower beds. I am not familiar with the engine manufacturer; it is private-labeled. Oddly, it is rated in cubic centimeters (212) rather than horsepower. Nonetheless, it starts easily and is powerful enough for deep tilling. Forward and reverse directions are controlled by levers on the handles, a convenient feature. The included standard tines will till a swath 16 - 22 inches wide as advertised and are easy to remove and reinstall. Mechanically, the tiller is somewhat lacking. The manufacturer uses thin-gauge sheet metal and light tube steel on the transfer wheel assembly. After assembling mine, I turned it 180 degrees - engine off and no obstacles - and the transport wheel frame torqued at a weld joint and broke. This is likely due to the fact that the transport wheels are spaced too closely to accommodate the tiller's center of gravity and weight distribution. It is advertised to till up to 8" deep, but I have not been able to go more than about 4". Where Champion excels is customer service. With one quick phone call, they shipped a new wheel assembly with two-day delivery. Manuals and parts lists, both with line drawings, are available for download. Something I have learned is that with small engines, the best practice is to use zero-ethanol gasoline. It costs more but might save annual carburetor rebuilding or replacement. After one season, I am replacing the carburetor, but Champion has a fantastic e-commerce parts store. Finally, I would recommend this tiller. Even with its few design issues, it performs as well as the Troy-Bilt I formerly had and is about half the cost of a comparable model.

Great tiller, the only thing I would change is the free wheel drive. Otherwise it does a great job tilling the garden and easy to use. Now I have it I might make the garden even bigger.

Did not have a hard time doing the assembly. Test run and works well.

The machine did not have oil cap. So I have to call and asked for the part. What a hassle. Hope they will be careful to pack complete parts

I bought this 19 inch tiller and was pleasantly surprised by how well it worked. I have a large garden, thirty by sixty or more. It broke through sod and workes quickly. I am Hoping to use it for years to come. I should have bought one years ago.

Received the cultivator very quickly from Tractor Supply. Very easy to assemble. Light enough to load into the SUV and take to the garden. Cultivated a 100' x 16' garden in less than 90 minutes. Did a nice job and was easy to handle. Used very little fuel during the job.

It works great I just wish I didn't have to free the wheels up to move it . I've used it two hours run time so I'm going to adjust the belt tension as recommended in the manual. Each hour I was able to till my back yard which small and I'm going to till it one more time and then level it and seed it for grass .

This is a Great Tiller , its easy to work on and our Customers Love It !!!!

Over all this tiller does well for back yard gardens. The one weak spot is the gas tank air filter cap. The little plastic piece that connects the air filter line breaks off easily.

Purchased new in september 2023 used it once before winter. Used it again in may of 2024 and the tines stopped spinning.

I tilled a 60 by 40 garden and only used half tank of fuel and didn't bog down once. And it's extremely quiet. Glad it is at a good reasonable price that anyone could afford for a good starter tiller.

I recommend this front tine tiller especially after really using it hard on the soil with many roots, no issues, worked wonderfully, great power, sturdy, manageable, works wonders!

Tiller worked great! Unfortunately both tubes in the tires wouldn't hold air, I found a puncture hole near the valve stem and had to purchase and install new tubes!

I use it to keep my garden nice and clean and stay clean of weeds while everything of growing and to keep the entire edge around the garden down also I use it to till my mothers flower beds

I would would recommend this tiller. It did a great job on new ground, Really turned the soil up nicely. Easy to controlled . The machine does all the work. Tiller has free wheel or self propelled. Nice feature.

Bought this for my wife for mother's day from the kids. She started it once and, like many many others, the choke assembly snapped off first try. She was so upset she's never even looked at it since. Tried to source parts but since Champion has such a poor reputation there is no longer anyone in our city who will service or try to get parts for these products. I can't even sell it until it's fixed and it's been collecting dust for over 2 years so warranty no good anyways. Do yourself a favor spend a few $100 more and buy a quality product...especially if it's a gift for the lady!

Just bought today and all I can say is I'm impressed!!! Great unit. Ready to go with sibe minor assembly required. It made short work of prepping the soil on a 3 year neglected garden plot on the place I moved in.

This tiller cuts right through hard clay soil like butter. Used it 5 times and starts on 1st pull every time.

Great so far! Easy assembky and almost too good to be true on price.
