Did a great job canceling mildew smell from under some kitchen cabinets. No moisture just strong smell. Drilled 7/8 inch holes in cabinet floor and squirted Mold Control. Let dry over night and covered holes.
Seems a bit pricey but does the job for several years on an application.

Waste of time and money
I bought this to eliminate mold on my bathroom ceiling. I followed the instructions and it did absolutely nothing. I accomplished with vinegar and then using as magic eraser.

Oh no, let's see if we can clear things up. While Rust-Oleum Concrobium Mold Control eliminates mold it will not remove staining from mold. We recommend applying mold control to eliminate the mold, then removing the staining, and finally reapplying mold control to reinstate the mold preventative properties.

It does ok, but it’s not the best from all I tried at removing mold stains. Hard to tell how well it kills mold.

Thank you for sharing your experience with Concrobium Mold Control. Please note this product does not remove staining from mold. To remove stains we recommend using Krud-Kutter Original Cleaner & Degreaser and then reapplying mold control to reinstate the mold preventative properties.

Is this effective for the area I am using it in?
I used this on one occasion around my bathtub, as I noticed some blackness along the baseboard that is right beside the tub itself. The darkness on those baseboards still remains, but does not look as dark. I also have tried treating it just with vinegar alone in the past. I really am unsure how well this worked because it is still dark in that are and my vision is not that great, but I do feel it is not as dark and perhaps the baseboard in those two spots (either end of the tub) is simply permanently discoloured. But I will continue to use this product on those areas

The good news is, once you have sprayed the solution on the moldy surface and allowed it to dry, the mold has been encapsulated and killed – in other words, your mold problem has been eradicated. If staining or residue remains, scrub with a cloth or brush dampened with Concrobium Mold Control – or take other cosmetic steps to improve the look of the surface. Remember that once the cleaning step is complete it’s important to leave a layer of Concrobium Mold Control on the surface to provide mold resistance. Reapplication is necessary in areas that are exposed to repeated moisture like a shower stall. We hope this new information is helpful!

Bad bottle
Got the product but it will not spray no matter what i do. So i have to go buy a spray bottle in order to use it. Not happy about that

This is a repeat purchase for me. I have been using it for the past few years. I like that the product removes mold easily, I have previously used it on my boat seats and now plan to use it in my shower.

Great product and good price from Home Depot online. Works much better than using bleach and very little odor. This is the second bottle I have purchased. After some use I gave the first bottle to a friend who had a bathroom mode issue. This saved and expensive remodel for them. It would be better to have shipped in a bag as there was some leakage in the shipping box.

This Concrobium is the best thing I have used to get rid of green mold on my vinyl railings and fencing. It works and it lasts a long time before I need to reapply. Use it on a day without wind. It even lasts through rain.

Doesn’t work
I bought this as an alternative to having to use bleach and even though it helped clean some of the mold it didn’t clean all of it off. I did as the instructions said and used about 1/3 of the bottle to ensure the mold wouldn’t grow back however literally within a month it was back. Not sure if the solution isn’t strong enough but I’ll have to definitely try something else.

Happy to help, Mack! While Rust-Oleum Concrobium Mold Control will eliminate and crush mold, it may not remove heavier stains and a separate cleaning step may be needed after treatment. If the surface is handled or washed a lot, the Mold Control needs to be reapplied to provide the antimicrobial barrier to prevent future mold growth. Keep in mind, if using this on a more porous surface, like bare wood, mold may be deeper seated in the surface and treatments may not be able to effectively reach it.
