I needed to remove them install new miniblinds in my house and since most of my tools were at a job site I shopped around on the HD app. I saw this little guy and although all of the reviews were negative, I opted to buy it anyway. It took a little getting used to but it performed very well. I was impressed that the max torque setting actually twisted the screwdriver enough to almost fall out of my hand.You are either going to like this tool or hate it. I personally like it. I once had a DeWalt that was twice the size of this one but only 3V, yet it could drive a 3" screw into a 2x4. I won't be using this one for heavy duty work but I will definitely be using it!

Ive owned this screwdriver for a year now and I love it. It is irreplaceable for disassembly jobs. I repair electronics as a hobby and use it literally every day and it makes disassembly a breeze. I want to get the dremel glue gun to go with it but the hardware store is always sold out.

It's light weight and easy to use. I like that's it's rechargeable and cordless. Easy to take with me.

This tool is easy to hold, has a lot of power and the quick change parts are great! I have arthritis in my hands, so an easy to hold/use tool is a must for me. The cons... The magnet that holds the screwdriver bits in place is too weak, and the bits fall off as one is trying to use the tool. The bit extender also does not stay in place but tends to fall off. That's a little frustrating. The screwdriver has enough torque that it will twist in your hand as you are using it. That can also be a bit frustrating. We used it on 3 vintage kitchen chairs that needed to be tightened up and even with all the screws, the tool had a lot of power left. Probably could have done 6 chairs with no problem. I am going to recommend the screwdriver with the caveat to be careful with the bits and the extender.

This is a small, slim, fast and powerful little tool. It comes with a USB charger and cable. I wanted to like this tool, but I don't. The first thing you notice after unpacking is the small printed message on the side "ONLY CHARGE WITH SUPPLIED DREMEL CHARGER 501". The U in USB stands for universal. If one can only use one charger, this is not real USB. Had this been printed on the outside of the box, I would not have bought this tool. The next big problem I have with this tool is the start control. There are two ways to start the tool. #1 is to press the driver bit against the screw. The tool will drive the screw instantly. #2 start system is a more conventional jog button. The problem with the first start system is the hair trigger, it is difficult to control. Just a light touch of the bit to the screw and this thing is going faster than one can blink an eye. Bad things happen when you have a premature start. I would prefer start method #2, however that is not an option because start method #1 has messed every thing up before one has a chance to push the button. I own other Dremel products and they all work well. This HSES-01 Screwdriver does not work well at all. I give it 2 out of 5 stars. 2 stars because Home Depot took it back with no hassle. I like the store, but not this product.

I had two of these I bought for work, and they both died from the same problem after about 6 months. They are now super slow and shut themselves off whenever you press the button, and make a terrible grinding sound. Avoid this e waste crap.

Excellent tool to use for computer upgrades. The adjustable torque settings are great and the ability to apply downward pressure and turn on was wonderful. One minor drawback is a lack of magnetized bits, but those can be switched out.

Lightweight, easy to use as I suffer with an arm/hand injury, exceeded my expectations!

This tool checked almost all my boxes but I was hesitant due to the auto start feature. Without a switch to select auto or push button, I find it nearly impossible to line up a screw without it starting on its own. At the same time the drive button is on a hair trigger and just thinking about pushing it, activates it. If there was a way to select either button or auto start, I would have loved it, but because they are both always on, I find it incredibly awkward. Build quality is great, but the two features just contradict themselves and it sits unused.

Work great. Convenient and takes up very little space.

Despite its small size, it does what it is designed for very well, do not try to do things that would be for an impact wrench. The battery has very good life. Unmatched for minor electrical work. Without a doubt another great contribution from Dremel.

Comes with its charging cord, extension and a selection of the most common bits. As with my other Dremel products It’s been a great addition to the toolbox.

I've had this tool for a year and it's become my go to screwdriver. I'm beginning to get osteoarthritis and this makes jobs much easier to handle. I love the design and features especially not needing to hit a power button to initiate screwing/unscrewing.

I have just about every tool know to man. I have shopped for one of these next to forever, and all others were junk. My GF saw one of these and picked it up for me (I can never find it, because she uses it a lot) and I have never looked for another. The feel, the grip, the weight and operations are perfect.

Returned do to that the bits weren't large enough for what I was going to unscrew. Nice tool.
