I purchased two of the Ecosmart Dusk to Dawn LED bulbs to use in my exterior light fixtures mounted on each side of my garage door. I had no idea they were flickering on and off randomly until we came home late one night and I saw them flickering off and back on as I approached the house. I’ve tried different light settings on the bulbs and they continue to do it. They in do come on without issue at dark and they go off without issue in the morning. Any suggestions? Thank you

Initially this seemed like a great solution to our problems but after 6 months the bulb started flickering on and off at night every 5 minutes. No big deal just annoying. Now after a year the light turns on at dusk but will not turn off during the day. I thought it might be the frosted glass it was behind but after removing that it was still happening. I’ve tried every recommendation given on the internet and the problem persists. I now have to go spend more money on something similar.

I brought one two weeks ago now at night it’s blinking off and on i contact customer service and only got a responded one time which started how can I help you I sent back 3 emails with a picture no one responded back ever cents

This EcoSmart 60-Watt Equivalent bulb is great. It is an LED energy efficient bulb. It is dimmable and can be set for the one of five white color settings from 2700k (soft white) to 5000k (daylight). It also turns itself on at dusk and off at dawn. I tried this bulb in an enclosed porch ceiling light and in a bright hallway wall fixture. The bulb worked fine in both instances. I decided to leave it in the hallway wall fixture.

I grabbed the EcoSmart 60-Watt Equivalent A19 Dimmable CEC Dusk to Dawn LED Light Bulb with Selectable Color Temperature (1-Pack) because I don’t want to worry with turning on lights all over the house there’s 3 levels! Also wanted to lower my electric bills by using more ecofriendly items in my home. EcoSmart 60-Watt Equivalent A19 Dimmable CEC Dusk to Dawn LED Light Bulb with Selectable Color Temperatures and are indeed one of the best to use in my home. These bulbs are truly EcoSmart when the room light is lowered the light turns on and by morning (daylight) it turns off. Without my having to go upstairs, downstairs, to the back porch or to the front porch. I love the dusk to dawn feature, the variable light, but after a month or two it started blinking every two minutes or so! Makes this an eye sore and unusable.

This is a single pack light bulb with a lot of options. There is a switch on the bulb to adjust the color of your choice. It’s energy efficient and light sensitive. The options of dusk to Dawn make it a perfect bulb for entrance areas around the house. Install the bulb and flip the switch, you’re done. No need to have to remembered to turn the light off in the morning.

I think Ecosmart has thought of every option when designing this LED lightbulb! It is a A19 bulb, using only 9.6W as a replacement for the classic 60W we use in most fixtures so energy cost is substantially reduced. But there’s much more! The bulb has a unique integrated switch which enables one to choose the color of light emitted. Soft White, Bright White, True White, Cool White and Daylight are the five choices included and they are each notable for the distinct light produced. The bulb is dimmable, in small increments and operates Dusk to Dawn, sensing the ambient light. I tested this feature and it performed well. A great product with unique features.

The EcoSmart 60 watt equivalent bulb is an awesome product. It has the capability to give you light where and when you need it, and it is also dimmable. You can even select the light tone that you prefer, from daylight to. soft white with the simple selector on the actual bulb. It fits in a standar light bulb fixture. It will work automatically from dawn to dusk, so you do not even have to worry about turning it on or off.

This light bulb is absolutely amazing. It has 5 different light color setting that are easily changed with the built in switch on the side of the base of the bulb. The bulb will fit a normal light socket and is LED so it will be energy efficient as well, this 60W equivalent bulb only uses 9.6W. This is a great bulb that will not disappoint and make it simple to set the right theme light for the room you’re lighting. I highly recommend this light bulb.

The EcoSmart 60 Watt Equivilent A19 Dimmable Dusk to Dawn Light Bulb is practical and cost effective. The LED bulb uses only 9.6 watts and provides 800 Lumens of brightness. It fits easily into any standard outlet and offers from Soft White at 2700 to Daylight at 5000k. It is very easy to change settings with the slide at the bottom of the bulb. Other settings include Bright White, at 3000k, True White at 3500k, and Cool White ar 4000k. Daylight is very bright, and Soft White is a more peaceful tone. My favorite is True white, which is in the middle. Because you can change the tone, you might want daylight for brightness when returning home, but can switch to soft white later in the evening, or create lighting for different occasions. I have never seen a dimmable dusk to dawn replacement bulb, and there usually isn't a variety of tones, so this bulb is unique. And because the dusk to sawn function is automatic, you don't have to worry about turning it on or off, or coming home in the dark.

I like the selectable color temperature that this bulb provides. At the flick of the switch, I can go from soft white, to bright white, then true white, cool white and finally daylight. That is useful if we want to get bright light for doing work then changing it to soft white to relax in the evening. Now I set the bulb in a lamp across from a window with plenty of light but the bulb didn't seem to react with its dusk to dawn feature and turn off. However, when placed in a covered outdoor fixture, it stayed off when exposed to the sunlight. I don't have a dimmer on my outdoor fixture so I couldn't test that out. All the nice features make it a versatile bulb to use in various applications.

I got this bulb to replace an existing 60w incandescent bulb to save in electricity costs. It fits in a standard light bulb socket (A19) . There is a simple to use switch on the side of the bulb that allows you to adjust the color temperature to one of 5 settings from warm white to daylight. It only uses 9.6 watts and puts out 800 lumens. For me this bulb cuts my electricity usage about in half as opposed to the incandescent bulb.

I recently ordered and received the EcoSmart A19 Dusk to Dawn light bulb to place in a fixture above our back patio shelter. This is a good product that I would recommend to friends and family. It has several LUMEN settings. I selected the "daylight" setting to illuminate as much area as possible. It came on at dusk and shut off at daybreak as advertised. This bulb is rated for 10,000 hours and has an average annual cost of $1.15. So far the bulb has worked as advertised. I have include a few pictures below.

Having tried a number of other dawn-to-dusk bulbs and options, I can say the Ecosmart did it right with this bulb. Bulb goes on at dusk and off at dawn…simple. The fact that you can dial in the temperate of the light is a nice bonus. I have used other Ecosmart bulbs with this feature and have found them to be extremely reliable , but now one with dusk to dawn capability is a great find. The light the bulb puts out is very clean at all settings, something I find comforting (sometimes the soft white can look a little yellow to me). I did not test the dimmable feature yet but have planned to put the fixture it is in on a dimmer switch in the near future. The bulb sips electricity, something almost anyone will appreciate. Do note that the bulb is not motion sensing; it is simply on or off. Great buy for the price; I will be getting more. Only drawback is that I have found it not to work quite as well indoors; not sure why.

A clever design which allows you to change the color temperature of the light with a switch on the side of the bulb. The lights goes all the way from a nice warm color to a very blue light. A simple design which allows the change of color without an app or having to connect to a Wi-Fi network. The design on the side of blub clearly indicates the temperature of each light selection

On the back of the package, it does say that it is for indoor use. It also states it’s suitable for use in an included fixture and it’s suitable for damp locations. I’m using this outside the patio door, so the dimmable feature isn't important to me. I like to have that light on for security reasons. Sometimes I have forgotten to turn it on before I leave, so now I’m just going to leave the switch on all the time. This way when I come home after dark the light will be on automatically, and automatically go off in the morning. As far as the color I choose to start with the true white. After testing over a couple of nights I’ve settled on cool white, 4000K. Considering the amount of color options, I think it’s a very good price.

This is a light bulb that I use on the entrance to my shop. It has a switch on the bub to allow the brightness that you would like lighten up the area that you want. The light turns on when dusk starts and stays on until the first signs of daylight. This bulb can also be used inside and will turn on when it is dark in the room. It is great for home security both inside and outside the home. Easy to install, just screw in the biulb.

Got this light bulb to use outside a garage. I wanted to get a light bulb that has a dusk to dawn sensor and adjustable brightness. This one fit those needs perfectly. Super easy to use...simply select which brightness setting you desire (2700K, 3000K, 3500K, 4000K, or 5000K) and then install the bulb where you want it. I have an out building with a porch light and wanted the light to come on at night without me having to go out there and turn on the switch. I was intending on getting a photocell to attach to the fixture but saw this bulb with a built-in photo cell and thought it would be worth a try. It works! I was pleasantly surprised that this bulb's built in photo cell turns the light on a dusk and off at dawn. It has 5 different color variations to select. I selected "daylight". Great product!

Generally most light bulbs tend to be pretty similar with not many distinguishing features but I have to say this LED bulb impressed me. I was looking for a replacement in this case for a bath vanity bulb. The best feature to me about this particular bulb is that it has an adjustment switch on the side of the bulb where you can fine tune the brightness of the bulb. This was particularly helpful so the light doesn’t stand out if you are replacing only some bulbs in a multi bulb fixture. It is a nice bright bulb and has worked great so far. I would definitely look at buying more of these in the future.

I like this bulb for the simple fact is it can replace an older incandescent bulb with any changes in your lamp - while at the same time it has the additional feature of being able to turn itself ON and OFF by sensing sun down and sun set. I would have given it five stars if you could adjust the intensity and color of the bulb by itself. In order to adjust the color and intensity requires as additional piece of equipment to bridge to the bulbs configuration. It would have been nice if this could be done without a bridge

This Ecosmart LED light bulb has five different color of light adjustments which you can easily change with a slide switch on the base of the bulb. This is quite a big range of color, from soft white (2700K) all the way to daylight (5000K). This bulb only uses 9.6 watts of power to produce the equivalent of 60 watts of power used in a standard light bulb. It has a brightness of 800 lumens which is fine for most any room in the house. I used it in a table lamp and it gave very good light (see picture). I highly recommend this light bulb because it is very energy efficient and it is easy to adjust the color of the light.

The Ecosmart 60-watt equivalent dusk to dawn lightbulb is the one I've been waiting for. For years I've had an LED plugged into a dusk to dawn adapter in our curbside lamp post, making it more on the finicky side than reliable. All to often would it flicker and strobe. After replacing the bulb and adapter with this all in one bulb, it's not only brighter, but I can change the color temperature to suit. Highly recommended.

There isn’t much you can say about a lightbulb other than its functionality. This one has it as you are able to change the tone of the light as well is it being dimmable. I’m going to be placing this on a dimmer switch and setting it to about 20% so that it can act as a nightlight in a spare bedroom. So far it’s been on since I placed it in the lamp so I’m just waiting for it to shut off on it’s own. I have tried to darken the room then turn the light on but that doesn’t seem to have an effect on it. There are no real directions with the bulb, however the box does state that it “Turn on at Dusk and then it will turn off at Dawn.” If it was a little clearer on how it worked it would have gotten 5 stars.

This is a LED on steroids! It comes with 4 brightness settings allowing you to customize your light for the location. I have mine in a lamp with shade that’s more for setting the mood rather than for task lighting so I have the light set to the lowest setting. It also includes a daylight/dusk feature that turns the light on in the evening and off when it’s morning. Unfortunately my light is in the a darker basement so the light stays on all the time.
