Great features
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this about a month ago after the unit that came with my home died. I love the features, and that I can direct the air flow. It is loud and installed in the wall next to my TV, so that is unfortunate. But all in all, it's a great unit and temps/fan choices are great with a sleep mode and timer.

Frigidaire 14,000 BTU Built-In AC
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] While I like the way this AC cools the room, I must say that the controls on the unit are tiny and difficult to see unless I'm leaning down to look at it. This is not a window unit. It's a sleeve unit that goes into the wall.

So far this product is doing as expected at 2 months in, 09/16/2023. My last 2 AC units this size and BTUs was Koldfront brand and had only lasted 2 years. So with this brand that has been in business for decades I am really hoping at least 5-6 years! I'll update this post if I can in a few years. I am in northern California where it reaches maybe 106F in the hottest summers so let's see!

The air conditioner works really well. It is so much better than the old GE that it replaced after over 20 years. I also purchased the 10000 btu Frigidaire for the bedroom.

It has the features I wanted, was easy to install, does work well so far, only have it less than a month. Looks like nice quality. It is a bit loud on the lowest fan setting. Delivery was fast.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am satisfied with my new air-conditioner and it would be better if the control markings on the panel were larger and brighter and also shown on the remote control. The instructions in the booklet are hard to follow, so, I looked at you tube and the directions couldn’t be heard as the music overpowered the instructor.

False advertising or at the very least deceitful !
The photos posted on the Home Depot page clearly show a separate wall sleeve (2 photos) which I believe that most potential buyers would assume would be included with the wall A/C-IT IS NOT INCLUDED! This is a very high priced wall A/C (the most expensive they sell) so we made our decision to purchase this one because we thought the wall sleeve was included and we would not have to purchase it separately at an additional cost. If you call Frigidaire "Customer Service"they are of no help.

works; exhaust water puddles inside a/c housing - doesn't drip out of sleeve.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The machine works well. The front panel lights are extremely small and difficult to see. My installation is in the wall, below the window-so I must sit on the floor to see which lights are on. Settings revert back to "default" when machine is turned off. Exhaust water collects under a/c within the a/c housing. After 6 weeks, I notice the water is becoming "rusty". Seems odd! So far, the machine cools and dehumidifies the main areas of our home.

Does the job, but…
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] As others have said, this unit is louder than anticipated. This means that it interferes with sleeping if in the bedroom. And in a family room, people have to talk over the a/c.
I find the thermometer is off by 2-4 degrees making it difficult to regulate the room temperature.
In spite of reading the manual several times, I can’t seem to figure out the differences between the various settings. They all seem to be the same.
If I had paid more for the unit, I would have rated it 2 or 3 stars. However, It does cool, but not very quickly.

I only had this ac for a few days
This ac is not spitting out cool air. I have it programmed at 62 degrees my room has stayed a steady 76 degrees. Unacceptable. The room still feels warm and I purchased this a week ago. Spent quite a bit of money. The compressor keeps going on and off despite room temperature not meeting set temperature of 62 degrees. I turned off Eco, put it in cool, put in coldest temp. Something is definitely wrong with this. I bought it to replace my previous model became it was not providibd enough cool air. I had no idea this until would be worse.
