It’s a budget friendly microwave. As I just installed it, I have to admit I have no reason not to expect basic function. My big gripe is the top cabinet template. Carefully following the instructions both on the template as well as in the installation manual, the holes I drilled were several inches away from the screw holes in the unit. I did multiple measurements and now have a cabinet that resembles Swiss cheese, but I got it installed no thanks to the enclosed template and instructions.

We really like the Over the Range Microwave. And since our previous Microwave was also a GE, we were very familiar with all the controls that we like.

This unit was installed a month ago (02/20/2024). So far it works well but I noticed last night that the plastic over the control panel buttons is buckling & getting wrinkles. The unit is used by one person, & rarely used for anything other than warming a cup of coffee. (I guess that explains why it's happening on the "Cook Time" & "Add 30 Sec" buttons.) I am not hard on things & take care of my property. This is very disappointing. It already looks worse than the 2002 GE Profile it replaced.

I just received my microwave it's a nice size and heats the food well.

We are so happy to have this beautiful microwave that matches our other appliances in our kitchen. I've only had it a couple days but it's been performing beautifully and handles everything that we need to do. I've always trusted GE Appliances and will do so in the future also. Thank you GE. Don't look any further get this brand and model.

Our over the range microwave went bad so we replaced it with the same model since we liked it so much!

Microwave stopped working not that long after we bought our house. Microwave says October 2021 when it was manufactured. The microwave stopped heating 2 years after it was manufactured. I took it apart and ended up being the magnetron being cracked. I replaced the magnetron and 3 months later the same thing happened again. I’ve seen many reviews with this microwave working and not heating. I believe this microwave has a problem with the magnetron cracking.

Nice looking microwave. Works well and was installed to vent outside. No more smoke in my house.

Works Great, has all of the features we like. The quick start buttons and the add 30 minute button are features we use all of the time.

Easy to use and looks great paired with my new GE gas range. I use this every day and GE products always hold up well. It is just the right size.

We purchased this microwave to replace our previous GE model from 2006 which finally died and was deemed to be not worth repairing. It has only been 10 days since installation but our new microwave works great so far! PROS: - Stainless Steel exterior looks sleek and modern - Seems to heat food quicker than our previous microwave (which was also 1000w) - Installation and setup was straightforward and the included templates were helpful CONS: - Feels cheaply built compared to our 2006 GE model (seems to be a common trend with many newer consumer goods). - Buttons feel especially cheapy with an unsatisfying squishiness and noticeable delay compared to other microwaves I've owned. - The display is very basic and all features in general seem to have been minimalized as much as possible. - The stovetop light is probably my biggest complaint. There is only one, not centered bulb instead of two sockets at each end like our previous microwave had. And it's not even an LED bulb! Instead it's halogen and it puts off so much heat that I would feel uncomfortable leaving it on all the time as I did with our last one. It does seem like compatible LED bulbs do exist so I will be ordering those soon. These complaints are mostly just minor annoyances and probably on par with other microwaves in this price range. The true test will be seeing if this one lasts for anywhere near 18 years as our previous one did. If you're looking for a microwave that looks nice and should match pretty much any kitchen, this seems like a good option; especially if you find it on sale!

I’d like to mention first off it’s beautiful to look at nice and white and clean. I like the options that you can make popcorn or do a cook of potato easy to figure out how it runs. Thank you.

Beautiful microwave, very spacious, does an excellent job heating and I like the controls as well. Much prefer this handle door to a push button opening as well.

We love our new microwave! It fits over my stove perfectly. It works great. It's just a simple to understand product,,,no fancy technology. And its sleek and good looking too!

Loving this new GE over range microwave. Has few added feature from my last microwave which had 21 yrs. Only replaced because door was cracked. Hopefully this one will last that long.

Terrible microwave. We've has our 3 years and we have to close the door over and over until it finally stops acting up so we can use it. It wont even turn on. It thinks the door is always open even when its closed. I just spent 20 mims trying to warm my coffee with this terrible microwave. We're going to replace it with a different brand. GE stuff sucks. Dont buy it. Our fridge is going out too. I regret buyi.g GE. It's junk. I had a microwave my entire childhood that never went out. Ge doesn't last 3 years. Choose something else.

Perfect size for my kitchen.

We love this appliance, is consistent and low enough to make it easy to put heavier dishes into it.

I like this product however the heating element went bad in it all too soon and I failed to register that Appliance so I'm going to try it again and see if this one doesn't last longer

The damper doesn't work or was never there to start with. Air comes in from the outside, through the exhaust filters and through the large, recirculating holes on the top. These holes (which aren't needed if venting to outside) allow debris to collect into top of microwave. There is no cover. When the exhaust is on, air coming out of these openings weaken the exhaust fan to almost nothing. The plastic covering for the control is already scratched, after 4 days. Disappointing to say the least.

This is by far one of the best microwaves I have ever purchased my family loves it very easy to use.

So far so good. I’ve only had the microwave for a view weeks. The exhaust fan is strong (but loud) on the first setting. I was surprised that there are only 2 levels. Easy to use. The black Control panel is a little hard for me to see, but hey what are lights for. It works great. Even my son made a positive remark.
