I wish I had waited just a couple weeks because now the purchase comes with a free bagger or a cart that you can tow behind so little disappointed. The mower itself is excellent very easy to set up very small footprint. As far as my garage goes the charger itself was easy to install on the wall. I like the Bluetooth feature of the mower as a novice zero turn owner, though I would have to say that the one handle turning joystick is very difficult on your arms. It’s a definite workout for a guy 59 years old. I have driven my neighbors that has two handles. It’s gas operated. It makes a little bit easier but the arm the right arm after 20 minutes of mowing I had cramps in my arms bad , charging itself last a lot longer than I expected. Mower 4/5 stars

Love it. Does a half acre on a single charge. Joystick takes a bit to get used to, but after three times you'll be fine. The thing I did not expect is that without the engine you don't smell like you just cut the grass.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have been a RYOBI fan for a few years now, i started with a second hand electric mower, upgraded to the cross cut 21in and now graduated to the riding mower. Its fast and easy to get the hang of, quick charge and great cutting. I could not be happier. Comfortable seat, no fumes in my garage after use. Its quiet and i can cut early on a saturday if I wanted to. I dont ever plan on going back to gas lawn equipment.

I love this mower. Have a smaller yard, so its perfect. Takes a little getting used to but it does the job.For the main issuesI and others had, getting a display product from the store, i read a lot of reviews before i ordered. Long story short call Homedepot.com speak to an online associate,have them place the order for you and specifically tell them you want it shipped from the warehouse and not fulfilled by the store. Download the ryobi app, pair via bluetooth to update firmware.

Delivered assembled without a scratch on it, 68% charged and 0.00 hours. Charged it and drove around my yard getting the feel of a joystick. I'm use to the 2 levers so definitely a learning curve but found I prefer the joystick. Mows my 1 acre with all my trees and with 8% left. Ordered 2 40v to boost run time, now 23%. 3 max speeds and 3 blade speeds to cover any mowing you need. Most will find Low/Low more than adequate. Quiet & quick! If you need a smaller one, this is it!

(See earlier review with same title) After contacting Home Depot, Home Depot and Ryobi reached out to me. I was delivered a new mower on a pallet After test driving the mower I noticed a clunking sound from the front and it appears the front bearings are gone on one of the front forks. I’m intrigued by the innovation of Ryobi products and the many products I’ve bought have lasted me. I’m hopeful I can fix up this fork issue and love this product. I hate leaving a bad review.

It takes some getting used to, but this thing is great!

Never had experience with riding mower. Took me one day to get use to it. I love the joy stick. Also amazing power and speed I had the mower little over two months. The wife love it also

My other RYOBI products are great so I tried the riding mower. Tried three times and each delivery the machine was delivered in a rusted weathered condition and it had burned out screens, all of them. The store didn’t clean them off or check to see if they worked before sending it to me the customer. The conditions of these mowers was horrible. If you need a riding mower do yourself a favor and go somewhere else.

I had this delivered today in horrible condition. The battery compartment is broken. All the compartments are broken actually. It’s already rusted and the deck doesn’t work. The are unwilling to pick it up any sooner than 8 days from now. This is the second time I’ve made a major purchase at Home Depot and the second time something like this has happened

I'm not sure what is going on but I'm disappointed with both Home Depot and Ryobi. I purchased this mower at a time when the advertised delivery time was one week. It arrived one week late. When it did arrive, it arrived without batteries. There were 3 accessory boxes, the third of which is clearly labelled 3 of 3 - Batteries. But unlike the other two, which had something inside, this box was completely flat and had never been folded into it's rectangular shape. The batteries were never shipped with the mower. So I called Home Depot support and got gaslit. There were 3 items in the order, including the mower. The support agent claimed there were 4 tracking numbers for 3 items. The 4th was for the batteries and tht they would arrive the next day. When I asked her for that tracking number, I was informed she was unable to give it to me. Meanwhile, I'm simultaneously looking at the order online which only shows 3 tracking numbers, and clicking the one for the mower didn't work. As I expected, the batteries never arrived. It's now been 3 business days, with a weekend thrown in, since that call. On the plus side, it's a fine looking machine and doesn't appear to be a floor model, like others have complained about. It's too bad. I would have at least liked to have tried the machine, before deciding to return. But as it currently stands, I'm stuck with a useless machine that has no batteries. Therefore, I see no alternative but to return the machine and all the accessories I purchased. It's been a mild winter where I live and most neighbors have already cut their lawn twice. I'm in need of a mower and I don't know if those batteries will ever arrive or when.

Home Depot is selling these as new when they are rusted, sun faded, water damaged, filled with mud and leaves. No joke. You will be hard pressed to get a new one or to get a Home Depot associate to admit they are trying to pass off old equipment as new. I’ve spent $40,000.00 at Home Depot in the past 2.5 years and this is an embarrassment. All pictures are of the unit I ordered. When you order online you don’t never know what you are going to get. I ordered this online and once it arrived I instantly knew they sent the display model. The riding lawn mower was rusted and the screen was water damaged. I I Tried to drive it but the mower doesn’t work.

They delivered the mower on the tree lawn (right along the street). This is the same spot I leave things for people to take for free. I got home and the only thing there was the pallet. I reached out to Home Depot and apparently since it is marked “delivered” on their end there is nothing they can do. They suggested that I dispute it with ny credit card but that doesn’t make sense to me. Its not their fault. I don’t understand how leaving it on the tree lawn for anyone to take is okay. If it was left near my house I’m sure it would have been there. Now i have to pay for a mower that I never received.

Bought mower.Delivered with no keys or paperwork.Went in to pick them up and saw $1000 price drop. got credit.Ran mower but one battery not powering machine. Noticed one wire not connected to anything. hd called-$1000 credit was processed wrong. Went back in. Arranged for return of defective machine. Was told a new from the warehouse machine would be delivered 4 days later.But same defective machine was delivered w loose wire taped up.2 days later hd mgr says they no longer have a machine for me

Ryobi owner of tons of Ryobi tools. Packaging did not match the video on Home Depot page. Battery is at 10%, won't start and unable to test safety feature per video instructions. The unit received has obviously been on display for a while (dirty). Store manager said this was standard. Scanning this page, there are recent 5 star reviews w/ pics of brand new units/ryobi packaging. My accessory packaging are all opened. Charger box is marked "Display". Horrible experience.

What a disaster. The first mower I had delivered had to be returned because the LCD screen didn't work. The replacement mower arrived in worse shape than the original. This mower had obviously been sitting outside for a very long time. The 40v battery cover was broken and wouldn't close. The two 40v batteries that were supposed to be in the compartment were missing. The accessory cover was permanently discolored due most likely to some sort of chemical spill. The deck plate screws were severely rusted. The yellow exterior metal had extensive scrapes and was beginning to rust. The exterior trim was permanently rusted from something metal that was sitting on the trim. I can't believe that someone working at the HD store that shipped this mower thought for even a nanosecond that this mower was ok to ship to a customer. The driver left me no paperwork and would not put the mower back on the truck when i said i didn't want to accept it. He said i would have to contact the store. At this point, I would love to write a reivew on the mower, but i can't seem to get one from Home Depot that is in any condition to actually operate! So, I guess I will move on to another store and another mower. Pics don't do this justice. I have several more, but I was limited to six.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I upgraded from an older model of the ryobi ride on mower after struggling with the battery, poor bagger design and grass always getting stuck in the chute… let me tell you… best decision ever!!! This new mower is amazing!!! Charges super fast. Easy to read battery life and the power chute cleaner works amazing on even damp grass! I will say that the joystick to drive is a little bit to get use to and still not the best at reverse but the zero turn is on point! If you want to have a super straight line you can forget that but honestly you can’t even tell . This is definitely an upgrade to the older model and i highly recommend

I like the mower, however I was not expecting a display model that's been sitting outside in the weather. It came with scratches, rust, dirt and water stains in the battery compartments, and sun fading on some of the plastics. I thought I was getting a brand new item when I placed the order, not one from outside. When you call they say they are all in this condition.

is this NEW? partially assembled, on a falling apart skid and weather from sitting Outdoors.

Easy to use once you get used to the joystick control and the fact you can adjust the speed of both the blade and the mower itself is great. I have a 1/2 acre and my neighbor has a 1/3 acre and it will cut both on a single charge.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Is there a way to add a tow mode, so both wheels move forward and just a touch of difference in speed to control steering? I notice that mainly one wheel does most of the driving which can cause it to spin just that one wheel if on any type of hill. nice power but wheels need better synchronization..

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I purchased a Ryobi 40v self propelled 21" mower in April and after using it a couple of weeks decided to also purchase the 80V 30" zero turn. This thing is GREAT. Makes mowing my yard fun! The joystick control is so easy to use and I mastered it after only a couple of mowings. So quiet and the quality of the cut is great. The size allows me to pass through my gate to the front yard. It came with a bonus Weed Trimmer and Blower. Really love my new Ryobi battery lawn tools!!

I was surprised on on fast it can be and how good the blade speed was. I've used other gas zero turns on the same lawn and it seems that spots would always not get cut. I didn't have that problem with the Ryobi. I can't figure out the Bluetooth feature, but other than that great mower so far

Absolutely incredible! Loyal to the Ryobi electric line and after recently moving into a house where the lawn was too large for my Ryobi lawnmower, I decided it was time to get a ZTR mower. This ZTR can absolutely move, easy cut adjusting, super comfortable seat, stunningly quiet. The joystick was new to me, but genius play by Ryobi. Super easy to use, and keeps your left hand free for a nice cold beverage on a summer day of mowing. Mowing is no longer a chore, it's something I enjoy doing now.
