Absolutely incredible! Loyal to the Ryobi electric line and after recently moving into a house where the lawn was too large for my Ryobi lawnmower, I decided it was time to get a ZTR mower. This ZTR can absolutely move, easy cut adjusting, super comfortable seat, stunningly quiet. The joystick was new to me, but genius play by Ryobi. Super easy to use, and keeps your left hand free for a nice cold beverage on a summer day of mowing. Mowing is no longer a chore, it's something I enjoy doing now.

I cut my mowing time in half. Short learning curve. It was easy to mow around the natural areas and I had to do less edge work. The display is easy to read. Great mower!!! My neighbor has already asked me about the new mower!!

I was so excited to get my brand new 30in Ryobi ztr and it completely lived up to the hype! It blew me away the second I got it out of the box! The sleek design along with a stunning display that is visible even in direct sunlight and a fighter pilot like joystick to drive make me feel like I had stepped into the future! Having spent time in the past mowing lawns with a standard ztr I couldn’t recommend this product more. It’s truly revolutionary!

My only problem with this mower is trying to drive it with a joy stick. I’ve practiced so much with it that for me it’s impossible to steer, especially in small areas. Other than that its a great mower. I did return it and got a tractor instead.

Fits through my 36” gates. Joystick took a minute to get used to but is easy to maneuver. Cut my mowing time in half. Batteries last a long time. Comfortable ride with the spring loaded seat.

Love love love this mower!!!! I'd been eyeballing it for a year waiting for a sale I couldn't pass up because it's so expensive. I finally got it and it works great. I don't even need to use a bag because it cuts the grass so fine. The only con would be learning to use the joystick. Once I figured that out, I've been unstoppable! :). The batteries charge insanely fast. It's a great feature being able to charge both batteries inside the mower at the same time by plugging in the mower itself.

It was a little difficult to drive at first but with a little practice and a few you tube videos...I feel like I made the right purchase!

Love this mower! Quiet, cuts great and can mow my entire yard and only uses about 20% of battery. The only thing I don't like about it is that the joystick does not go back to neutral when you let it go. So be careful.

I have to give 1 star at this time as the mower doesn't work. Ran for 5 minutes (yes batteries are charged) then came to a stop. Called hot line. Man says according to the error code I have a faulty switch. Was told I'd receive a call to schedule an appt in 2 to 3 business days. Has been over a week. Got a message yesterday that they require more information before making an appointment. I called and went to voice mail, So I'm waiting. Delivery was fantastic, very professional. Wife is very disappointed as she was really looking forward to helping me out (Bad back, joy stick will be great for her)

Excellent… so far. I have only used it twice. Had it for 2 weeks. CON: Steep learning curve on joystick steering/control. DO NOT step on brake unless it’s an emergency! Brake causes an immediate and abrupt stop! PRO: Everything else! Quiet, instantly ready to use, relatively short charging time, ease of control/adjustments, cup holders, storage compartments, USB power outlet, etc. Exceeded my expectations. Cuts great, lawn looks beautiful. Used 80% charge on 0.4 acre lot, don’t think it would last a full acre (perfect for my use).

The mower is great. I had to have it serviced because Home Depot stored it outside. The Ryobi tech was helpful. Unfortuntely, they are only sold at Home Depot. The customer service at HD stinks.

This is a perfect machine for my yard. I'd suggest taking your time becoming efficient with the joy stick.

I picked up the lawnmower at the store, brought it home and there were no batteries and no key with it so I called them up and they sent me the batteries but only one key And the description of the lawnmower said it had three keys????

The good: quiet, even with the blades running, as expected, sturdy design, size makes it great for tight spots and is also easier to store. Ability to beef up the runtime with 40 v batteries is a nice touch. Charges very quickly (10% to 100% in around an hour). Joy Stick Control can have its merits once one gets used to it. Safety shutoff for the blades works very well. Cuts evenly. Alerts rider when charge is low and then turns off the blades to save charge to ensure you have enough to get back to the charge point. The bad: Received what was obviously a display model and had some dirt, scratches, superficial rust and discoloration when I expected new. The neutral on the joy stick is very fussy and needs to be adjusted otherwise turning it on takes a lot of tries vs just running. Run time could be longer but is inline with the 1/2 acre minimum claim. Joystick control requires time getting used to and even then, going decent straight lines on even surfaces is a challenge. Constant corrects tire out the joy stick hand quickly.

Had it about a month and still trying to decide if I like this or not. I don't like the stick steering, not in principle but it makes my arthritis painful. Sometimes I use my left hand which isn't ideal. It would be better if it required less effort.

So far I really like it. The 30" is just right for my yard. The joy stick control takes a bit to get use to. My only complaint so far is the bagger with boost. I have a very thick lawn and if I can't keep it mowed every 3 or 4 days. I have to run the bagger boost a lot. It use a lot of the battery.

The 30 inch is perfect for getting through gates to backyards. Cuts nice. The joystick controller has a learning curve. Batteries charge fast (I remove them for security). Don’t use it on a slope, it has a high center of gravity and will try to tip.

Store would not honor military discount. Had to wait hours to have manager match price on line to instore. Did not get free gift. took 2 hours to get someone to get from back of store. Run time is not as advertised. But comfortable ride. Blue tooth does not work.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Nice mower, I have mowed the yard few times with it, I believe that you need to practice with the way it cuts and drives, (forward and reverse) before you judge it. Enough battery for 2 lawn cuts and good power going uphill.
