It didn't work
I read the directions and prepared an area of 120 square feet. It took a long time to mix it then didn't self level. I even took my trowel out and tried to spread it around but it was way too thick. I used 5 quarts of water for a 50 lb bag. Maybe 6 or 7 quarts would've done the trick but that cement was way too thick and wouldn't reach the corners so I had to scoop it all up and after an hour it still isn't dry. I wish I could go back in time and tell myself not to mess with it.

I finished installing drains, concrete, and concrete leveler and it was very easy to use, it successfully leveled the concrete to the lip of the drains and looks good.

Does not flow well, you have to screed
Did everything correctly with a second person and used Rapid Set delay. 2 of the ten bags did not flow at all, suspect they were old. Going to try and fix this with the same product one last time but with a spirit level as a screed. I had 3/8" variations after I trawled it out. I would just use a screed, string and regular cement if I did it again.

        Self leveling concrete
I started with an old broken up concrete pad. I used Ready Set concrete patch and stabilized the surface. Then used Ready Set Concrete Leveler for my top coat. I mixed the leveler according to the directions using 4.5 Quarts of H2O for 50 lbs bag. The consistency was perfect to pour. Using 5 gallon buckets to mix with drill and paddle. I spread the leveler. Definitely helped having a 2nd person mixing while I worked to spread. It was 65 degrees We had approximately 25 minutes of working time.

Works well. Be sure to close any holes or it will run out. I have used it before. It is expensive. There is a slow drying product, probably from the same company that would probably have worked just as well, just taken a little longer to set.

            easy to use
I had a small area in the hall way that needed leveling that required three bags. This stuff worked perfectly. I read how people had to mix more water or struggled with it being too thick but i followed the instructions and it turned out perfectly.

I've read the instructions carefully and reviewed video guide on Rapid Set websites. I've used Rapid Set primer and let it dry for 1 day. Mixed using the suggested proportions with a mixer. I was leveling the concrete floor in a small bathroom, 80 sq.ft. That thing didn't self-level at all! When I poured it, I had bumps in places where I poured it, which didn't go away. Where I had gaps, I still have gaps. Nothing changed, and in some places it became even worse. Need to re-do the job again. Waste of time and money.

Excellent product when used as intended. It did everything it claimed on the packaging. One of my uses was to patch a pothole in our busy asphalt parking lot. Large truck and car traffic has no negative effect on it; very tough, hard finish. A previous patch with regular concrete mix eventually failed and broke up under traffic use, but this new patch is unaffected by the heavy traffic. After troweling, the finished surface self-leveled nicely. The rapid set allowed me to put it into full traffic service in 48 hours. After mixing, the product is harder to work (shoveling/troweling) than regular cement or mortar products because it is so dense, heavy, and "plastic", but the extra effort is worth the finished product. I recommend it and will be using it again in the future.

This product may be good for small areas, a few square feet. I used it to cover my entire basement room floor, after reading previous reviews I decided to add about 10% more water to the mix than recommended on the bag to help it level better. However the result was not good, there was a one inch difference in level from center of room to the ends, see enclosed pictures. The color was very uniform (unlike 'Sika pro select' which I used later using a board to level it properly).

I was actually scared to use this stuff after reading all of the negative reviews. At Home Depot they had product that was more than one year old, but I took a chance with it. I could not be happier with the result- leveled an entire garage bay that a previous home owner had poorly finished. I used 5 quarts of water- or maybe 5.5 per bag if I wanted a thinner coat. What I did learn is that you have to really mix this stuff well for several minutes (used a 5 gallon bucket, heavy drill, and a drywall joint compound bit) one bag at a time, and you have to rinse the bucket each time to avoid getting chunks. Also don't slam the bucket down (again chunks), just pour it out and spread it with the masonry broom flipped upside down pulling even it from side to side. I would recommend the primer as it kept the air bubbles out. I used two coats in the end, because I had some drips with the masonry broom I was using to spread it (don't pick it up). Poured the second coat 14 hours after the first. I am handy, but no concrete pro. The finish product was a perfectly even floor. This stuff is amazingly durable, and is still curing. I poured with the temp at 50 in the day and 30 at night. It took 11 bags for 260 square feet. It does cure quickly, and its easiest with one mixing and one spreading, but if you move quickly you can do it alone. I learned to just spread it even as quickly as possible, and give it time to level itself for the perfect garage floor. Thanks Rapid Set- one great product!

                    Great product.
In our remodeling project we got few bumpy areas on concrete pad surface which we needed to level for new flooring. I purchased this product among others, because it it can be used for both, thin and thicker layers of leveler. According to instructions on pic.1-3, first we vacuumed all area, then we applied the primer recomanded by Home Depot associate. After primer dried, we mixed the concrete leveler in the bucket with the help of mixer mounted on drill. We poured mix over the bumpy surface and since we needed level few smaller areas we spread the leveler with finishing trowel. On deeper places we used roller with pins in the order to get possible air bubbles out. The leveler mix starts getting thicker immediately after mix is poured, thus make sure, that everything is ready to work with the mix right the way. The mix needs to be helped to spread and roughly leveled, the fine smoothing and leveling is provided by mix itself. It's a great product and great help where needed. It's safer for environment-releases less CO2 then cement. Info on the bag: State of California Proposition 65 Warning. Please, refer to the SDS and www.CTScement.com for additional safety information regarding this material.

Very easy to use; easy to get a smooth finish
I ordered a bag of concrete leveler and the recommended primer because the recommendation for using the leveler is to apply the primer first. Follow the directions printed on the side of the primer and allow ample drying time for the primer and you shouldn't have any problems with the leveler or your finished project. I did a small vestibule area first and used a paint brush from the dollar store to apply the primer. I am preparing the area for tile and it needed to be repaired and smoothed over. The leveler worked beautifully. I've used a lot of concrete repair products over my 42 years of FT work and this is by far the easiest to work with. I've been using Top-N-Bond for projects like this but this leveler is perfect for this kind of job and it flows smoothly and is very easy to work with. It also had a longer working time than I expected and this was a pleasant surprise.

                    Good for Novice
Used several bags of this on a short concrete walk way that I roughly poured in between patio area and pool area. It covered up the dips and poor workmanship so I can eventually install a paver- type product that gets cemented (thin set) on to the top. I'm pretty happy with the results. If you're a novice with concrete, this is a good product to cover up a workmanship issues. You can add little more water and it pours easily enough or you could cut back and make it more pliable for work it to an edge. I also used this on a dry rotted wood beam. I scraped our the broken and splintered wood, made a fairly watered down mixture and poured it in. This happens to be on the top of the beam , elevated about 9 feet, and is out of sight, I intend to paint it.

I like it better than the other brand
There are many flat concrete places around my house that are not slanted to drain the water off. I bought the other leading brand of concrete leveler to fix a piece of sidewalk that was draining into my garage. It did the job, but the bag said to mix the 50 lb content with 6 1/2 quarts of water. I didn't need that much so I had to calculate the amount of water for 20lb of concrete leveler. It came out a little thin/runny and I had a hard time containing it to the small piece of sidewalk even though I had made a frame. It wanted to ooze under the frame. This brand has directions for 10lb up to 50lb for the amount of water to add. My sun room (for plant starting, young chicks, and storage of firewood) always drained toward the far corner instead of the drain in the center of the room. I threw some of the left over from another project down, that's the blob. It stopped the water from getting to the wood. 50lb didn't finish the job so I got some of an open bag of the other leading brand and finished it. Of course, I got it too wet, but it beveled off nicely. I'm not worried about the looks, just that it drains. Otherwise I would have put a frame around it too.

                    Life Saver
Love this leveler. I've used other brands but nothing beats this. I built an addition to a kitchen and that meant joining the new floor to the old. I then floated a new engineered floor over all. I didn't notice that there was a slight difference in the height of the new addition part of the floor, so there was a "soft" section that compressed when you walked on it, very frustrating. So I pulled up the section of the floor that was uneven and then mixed up a bucket of concrete leveler; it was easy, just added mix to the bucket and then added water until it was a creamy smooth consistency. I used a drill mounted mixer which made it real fast; say two minutes. I then laid a 2x4 across the uneven part of the floor and sort of marked the low areas with a red magic marker. I then poured the leveler and finally took a 6" trowel and feathered out the edges. It dried pretty fast mostly because the plywood subfloor soaked up a lot of the moisture from the leveler. No problem, it was still workable for 20 minutes. I then used the 2x4 again to see if I had gotten rid of the low areas. I hadn't, so I waited 2 hours and repeated the process. This time I was golden; perfectly flat. I waited til the next day and then I relaid the floor and wa-la, the floor was solid.

I used the concrete leveler to resurface the concrete floor in my outdoor shower. Followed the directions on the label and spread a bonding agent over the existing floor to increase adhesion. The product required very little intervention on my part. That is to say that I did not need to use a trowel or squeegee to achieve a level surface.
