[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought the washer 3 weeks ago because my 20-year-old washer broke. Now I wish I had fixed the old one. This new washer spins the clothes so dry that the clothes end up very wrinkled. I followed the directions and washed towels and jeans separately to try to avoid wrinkles. I immediately took the clothes out of the washer and put them in the dryer to avoid wrinkles. The clothes still come out of the dryer quite wrinkled. Very disappointing.

Don't buy this washer unless you want white residue on your clothes! I am SUPER frustrated as I've been in contact with Whirlpool and Home Depot and they have done NOTHING to help me except send someone out. The person that came out said that there's nothing wrong when there is something wrong if it isn't rinsing my clothes like it should...Save yourself the headache don't buy it!

Purchased this washer specifically for the Faucet feature. However, the lid must be open to activate the faucet and the button for the faucet is BEHIND the open lid. Impossible to reach around the open lid to press the button. I expected the washer to be quiter than my previous 25 year old washer but it is actually louder. Also, there is no fabric softener dispenser. Very unhappy with this washer

It does a good job cleaning the laundry, and the removable agitator is easy to use. This machine is a little noisy compared to the old one though. A time remaining indicator would have been nice.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Loads take much longer even using 'quick wash' which is at least 45 minutes. My previous washer only took about 22 minutes for the longest cycle and discount a better job. There is also no way to tell where you're at in the process ie no indication of wash vs rinse cycles. And it claims to be 'energy effiicient' based on saving water (which I find useless as I have to use the 'deep water' which adds water since doing their regular way doesnt even wash your clothes. Plus now what used to take me 4-5 hours on the past now takes an entire day plus because of the ridiculously long cycles. I have no idea how that is supposed to be efficient or beneficial in any way. Highly disappointed and definitely not worth the price in my opinion.

I just need to get the amount of detergent needed down. Really like being able to remove the agitator.

It doesn’t matter the load size, half the clothes don’t get wet! I was so happy to have a non HE washer with an agitator, big mistake! I have to stay there for 30 minutes while it’s filling to hold the faucet button. I have it on deep water and it fills to less water. I’m so disappointed, especially since it’s a whirlpool and I’ve only had it for about 3 months and it’s too late to return! I want a new washer, I hate doing laundry now.

Owned for 48 hours and returned. Does not wash clothes More of a clothes dampener. Did not get out stains. Removable agitator is a gimmick. With or without the agitator installed it does not agitate the clothing.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Appliance works well. However, it is somewhat confusing when the washing cycle ends.and the rinse cycle begins so.you.can stop the machine.and add the sanitizer.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Switched from a Front Loading Samsung washing machine in which the circuit board and wiring harness caught fire! Had a top loader for years in order to do queen size bedding and comforters and other laundry. Back to using a top loader with a nice feature of a removable agitator for bulky items. First couple of loads did great, however it ruined one pillowcase as the case became stuck or pulled under the agitator during washing. It tore and wore through it, how i dont know. Was not overloaded and it was a small load. I had it on automatic sensing for the water level and to me the water level looked low for this load of clothing and may have contributed to the damaged case. Since that time I have always selected deep water cycle and have not had any further damaged clothes. The bad part of that is the washing cycle is much longer since the machine fills up more and also has to drain more water each cycle and it certainly is saving much water either. So not great. In watching the cycle run it is apparent to me that the clothes dont get as much agitation or tumble washing as in a front washing machine. This was evident in my work clothing as it does not clean them as well as the front-loading washing machine. Normal loads seem to be fine but those well soiled clothing such as jeans, work shirts and jackets it just doesn't do as good of a job removing those tough soiled items. The other short coming I found in the machine is you have to purchase a fabric softener ball if you use liquid softener. Which is another time-consuming step or just switch to dryer sheets. Liked the load all your soaps and softener you need in a front loader drawer and push start and forget it. With this model without the extra expense of a purchasing the fabric softener ball dispenser you have to wait and catch the add softener timing on this machine. Lets face it most of us don't have that kind of time. We like it done without having to attend to wash cycle just to add softener. This machine is also louder and has an annoying sound as it agitates clothing. In all I got what I paid for but next time around I believe I will be going back to a front-loading washing machine and deal with leaving the door open to avoid that musty smell you get in a front loading machine when you leave the door closed. GRRRR

It’s very good smart clean very good also it’s not noisy will spinning i was scared from that but im very happy with it and very smart will using water i had very small load and there is no option for smal or large but I found the washer can tell by it self and use the correct amount of water thank you whirlpool and Home Depot for this washer and for affordable price

I didn’t realize that this model did not have detergent/softener dispenser, an indication of the remaining time for the cycle as well as an indication (buzzer, etc) that the was cycle was completed.

I am surprised that in 2023 this is not tied to my WiFi where it can alert me when a load is done, how many loads I did this eeek, water consumption, and when it is read for an afresh or chlorine treatment. At best I am satisfied with its performance. I would buy it again for the price I paid.

The removable agitator is a wonderful option, especially when you need to use wash large comforters, bed linens, and blankets. It’s quiet and does an excellent job at cleaning each item well without being to rough, regardless of the fabric or material. We will definitely purchase Whirlpool appliances in the future!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I had this washer for 1 wk than I used it it made a lot of noise did not move nor Mr cleaned my clothes I sent this over sized junk box back didn’t give it another try, I should have tried it when it arrived i decided to try and find old style washer without those ridiculous gimmicks that doesn’t improve performance DONT BUY A WASHER THAT TELLS YOU HOW MUCH WATER YOUR LOAD NEEDS, or what kind of soap powder to use
