    Frequently Asked Questions

Do I need to prepare anything before having carpet replaced?
Before new carpet is installed, please clear the room of heavy pieces of furniture. We can move standard things like tables, couches, and chairs, but our carpet installers will not be able to move pianos, waterbeds, pool tables, aquariums, safes, antiques, large exercise equipment, or electronics.
Which kind of carpet is best?
Texture or twist carpet works great in every room, including dens, family rooms, bedrooms, offices, stairs, hallways, and basements. Patterned carpet is commonly installed in bedrooms, family rooms, dens, hallways, stairways, and offices, but it shouldn't be used in basements. Loop or berber carpet works well in basements, hallways, and on stairs. However, this carpet is not ideal if you have pets, as their claws can snag the carpet loops.
What brands does The Home Depot install?
We proudly install exclusive carpet brands, such as trafficMASTER, Home Decorators Collection, and LifeProof.
How can I get free carpet samples?
We offer a complimentary selection of three carpet samples delivered to your door when you schedule an in-home measure online. We also have samples available for purchase online with free shipping.
How long is the installation process?
Most carpet projects in Tehama County are completed in a day.

With such a diverse selection to choose from, we have just the type you're looking for. All our carpets are made from quality construction to fit your lifestyle. Some varieties have special features such as stain, wear, and moisture resistance. Carpet fibers like polyester and olefin are very budget friendly. If you prefer a plusher look, wool and nylon are great options. For a top-of-the-line fiber, consider triexta.

We also offer several carpet textures. If your goal is to find a unique style, patterned carpet is ideal, with multiple colors, textures, and designs to choose from. For a more casual look, texture or twist carpet is ideal, with soft, twisted fibers that work well in medium-traffic areas. If you want something more efficient and durable, loop, also known as berber, carpet, is great at hiding dirt and footprints.
