    Had to get carpet on the stairs. Ordered LVP but installers couldn't install it on the stairs. Wished I had known that sooner. One person measures. Another builds your order. And another company installs. So many opportunities for something to go wrong.

    I am writing to express my serious concerns regarding both the scheduling process and an incident that occurred during my recent installation appointment. When scheduling the appointment, the system asks you to select a recommended time, which gives the impression that you have successfully scheduled an appointment. However, it appears that the appointment is only an attempt to obtain a time and cannot actually be confirmed because the carpet is not yet available. This made the scheduling process extremely frustrating and misleading. More concerning, however, was my experience with one of the installers who arrived for the appointment. During the visit, the gentleman locked the door behind me, which made me extremely uncomfortable. When I asked for the regional office to contact me so that I could speak with someone else regarding the project, he continued calling my personal phone number. Additionally, the individual arrived wearing what appeared to be workout clothing. He did not have a company logo on his clothing, did not present identification or a company badge, and there was no company logo on the vehicle. Given that this person was entering my home, I found the lack of identification and professional appearance particularly concerning. I consider this one of the most unprofessional experiences I have ever encountered with a service provider. I would like this incident formally documented.

    No contact bridge between store purchase and installation. I had questions that I had to labor over to get answered. Very stressful and unnecessary. Home Depot dropped the ball on my account more than once in this process and there was no followup. I had to work hard to pay a lot of money to get carpet.
