When I was quoted, the lead time on the windows I was told was 6-8 weeks. I paid for the windows on or around March 17th. The window installation was finished on September 13th. The windows and transoms were measured incorrectly at the consultation visit, leading to a delay and another $7k that I had to pay. A month after I paid and signed the documentation for the amendment I was told the signed copy was lost and I needed to sign it again. The first window installation was scheduled for July 2nd. When the contractors showed up this was the first time I was told that not all of the windows were available and they would come back to install the remaining windows once they had them. From July 2nd to August 7th I was never contacted by Home Depot with an update to the project, until I reached out to the salesperson. From August 7th to August 26th I kept being told that a supervisor would be reaching out to me and finally got an answer on August 26th. These windows took 6 months from the time I paid to finished project. When I was quoted I was told that I would not have to do anything besides make sure the area was clear to work with, I asked specifically about the blinds for the windows and was told the contractor would remove the blinds and reinstall the blinds. Only one set of Blinds was reinstalled, I had to hang the other 5 blinds by myself. One set of the windows has paint chipped off the window, and I have a gouge in the drywall. I am very dissatisfied with the entirety of the project and would never recommend to anyone to go through Home Depot for window replacement.
