After purchase of the carpet, we had to wait almost 4 weeks for installation. Day of installation on 8/25 no one showed up-scheduled time was 8am-12pm. No call from installers. I called CFI, was hung up on, called again, operator transferred me to site supervisor who told me they did not have enough carpet and could not install because they were given the wrong measurements. He said he would look into it and call me back. He did not call me back. I also called Home Depot. I was transferred to Heather and left a message. No call back. I called Home Depot again on 8/26 and left a message for Heather. I received a call from CFI on 8/26 and was told they have enough carpet and scheduled the install for 9/2. I called HD again on 8/28 and spoke with Heather. I explained the situation to her. She said she would have a manager call me after the install. As of 09/5, no call. This situation has been very frustrating. My son and I both took 2 days off work to make sure 1 of us would be available for the installation. I believe that I should be compensated for my time and frustration. I also want to be contacted by a manager and want to find out why I was not contacted on 8/25 when the installer knew they could not install the carpet and why they did not receive the correct measurements to begin with. I will not purchase carpet from Home Depot again. Communication is very important. HD and CFI did a poor job of communicating with me.

We were given a window of time, the installer missed it and did not let us know. The installer should notify a customer if they are going to be late and give an approximate time. The installers came 4 hour after window had passed and I had to call them to find out what was happening. They were not helpful when I called either. Home Depot should reconsider this carpet installation company they contract with.

The installers did a good job, no problem with them. The problem was that it took four appointments to get the job done. The first three appointments fell through for one reason or another and that was very frustrating. I had to make many calls that were mostly failures until I talked to a lady named Miranda who was in Kentucky near Cincinati Ohio. She was excellent and was determined to help me.

The only issue I had was doors that were taken off were not put back on. ?Issue? is a strong word, it?s not a huge deal but if a worker takes a door off, he/she should put it back on. It?s not a concern that would keep me from using them again
