Had a total of 22 windows, most custom cut, all Andersen, as well as an Andersen 4000 series storm door, all replacing the original andersens from 50 years ago! The initial meeting and contracting was very satisfying with explanations throughout all of the steps. The HD consultant was also very receptive to questions and concerns addressing everything. The next step consisted of precision measuring, which required a visit. It was short and quick with the measurements then bein sent out to Andersen for fabrication. This processes took about 3 weeks. The next phase then had an installation team of 3 show up and complete the work in three days time. Installers were very experienced seamlessly going through the house window by window, cleaning up at the end of each day and left the area in its original arrangement with nothing being out of place or broken. Three of the windows were not cut properly, immediately noticed by the installers when starting in day one. Those pieces were recut and arrived a few weeks later where the installers came back and finished the work. The improvement concerning sound and temperature is very very noticeable. The calculation including improved home value and heating cooling costs (first five years) came to 89% of the total cost. I am very satisfied and recommend HD for anyone looking for similar work. One note is the father/son team doing the work with an additional helper were very experienced. I'm sure this made the difference from a fair experience overall to outstanding.
