Although I gave high ratings, I just have to say that when the installers showed up with the carpet it was cut by the store 8 inches too short. Now in order to not have to wait another two weeks to get this job completed and the layout of my house allowed, I was able to extend my kitchen floor using extra tiles I had from when I redid my kitchen floor. So I was able to compensate for that missing six inches but I could have made an issue about this. When it came time to pay my final balance I explained to the home depot rep and she credited me that balance so they did make good for the mistake, but it should not have happened in the first place.

everything went pretty smoothly - the in-store rep was amazing, the measure guy did fine, but apparaently didnt let the installers know the complexity of the job so it took them much longer than they expected - which they didnt complain to me about and finished the job the same day. The installers were great - they worked hard and did a great job. However, I have a bunch of pulls in the carpet and a small hole already and the carpet has only been down for one week with minor usage. Home Depot are coming this friday to resolve so we'll see how it goes... regardless, I would definitely recommend HD to friends and family - the price was amazing and the service has been really good so far!
