the carpet was not put under the door mount till after I said someithng about how the carpet will just pull at seems. this is in high traffic area. The installer did however put the carpet under the door mount, but he did not put on correctly and the door had to remain open all weekend till my husband could fix it. this was an exterior door out to my porch therefore it gets closed every evening and locked.

The actual installer was fine but I was very irritated that I never got a call about a scheduling window. I tried to call the manager Dan, the regional manager Kendra, and their corporate number several times and no one returned my calls or messages until AFTER the job was done and I gave them a bad review, and then I was called and emailed and asked to raise my rating. Um, no. Worry more about your customers when completing the service and you won't have to worry about low ratings. The reps in the local Home Depot store and Tierry at the Home Depot number were both helpful though!

The installer was good. Polite, clean worker, tried to make sure I was happy. I had a problem when I first went to purchase this, my second carpet this year, with a employee who was visibly annoyed that I questioned things. BUT, another employee took my order & I believe management was made aware of this problem. So, all things considered, Home Depot made sure I was a satisfied customer. Because most agree reputation can help to make or destroy a business.
