I?m not satisfied with Cooper installationexperience. The installer spread the carpet out directly on our driveway to cut it. When we asked why he was cutting the carpet on the driveway, his response was very rude: ?I?ve been doing this for 40 years.? I also did not appreciate that he did not bring the carpet upstairs the way the previous installers did. I even offered him the option of using our garage to cut and prepare the carpet, but he completely ignored my request and continued working on the driveway. Our driveway is not a clean surface, and I?m very uncomfortable with the carpet being spread out directly on the ground where it can pick up dirt, dust, and debris. We have ducks that frequently wander through our neighborhood, and there was duck feces on the driveway. The carpet was being laid directly on that surface. I find it very concerning that the installer did not seem to notice or take this into consideration. Regardless of whether cutting outdoors is standard procedure, I would expect some basic consideration for the cleanliness of the surface where the carpet is being placed for a brand new carpet. I also want to clarify that my concern is not simply that the carpet was cut outside. It is the lack of communication, consideration, and willingness to work with us when we offered an alternative that was readily available. If the installer had explained beforehand that he needed to make the cuts outside and why, we could have discussed it and addressed the situation together. I am very disappointed with the service and with the way the installer handled our concerns. We were respectful throughout the process and simply expected the same level of professionalism and courtesy in return.
