For my July 10th install: Glue on wall and baseboards that I had to use goo gone on baseboards to remove and I will need to paint wall. Oil on carpet behind door where someone dropped an oily door pin on new carpet, black fingerprints all over white doors, horrible seam running vertically into a door way and a triangle patch at a doorway. I have stated my complaints to Crew2. They sent someone out to look at. They then did not get back to me. I called twice and finally received a response that the ?inspector? doesn?t feel comfortable fixing and now they need to send a new inspector next week. This was project #1 of two carpet projects. I spent almost $12,000 between both projects. Project #2 was installed July 24th. There are defects in the of two of the rooms and the stairs. Ran vertical pattern vertical to bedroom door in one room and in the room next to it ran the pattern horizontal, when I was very clear when ordering they need to run the pattern the same direction due to extremely close proximity. Glue on carpet in the middle of two rooms, which these two rooms as well as stairway are now being sent in to manufacturer as a claim due to defect. The worse part is no one has really showed any concern or apology. I would at least expect a credit in both installs since nothing is complete and I have had to take off an additional day of work for 2nd ?inspector? and when they come bs k to pull out defected carpet. Never again will I trust or use or recommend Home Depot for carpet. No answer on claim yet!
