When I went in to Home Depot in late August to place my order for carpet and install, I was told that if I paid $149, my order would be expedited and install would happen within 7 days. This did not happen. I got a call from the install department 6 days later and got scheduled for installation 9 days after that. I was then told that there was not a $149 fee charged to me, so it would not be expedited. This was frustrating. But if a person pays for flooring to be removed, it should be clearly communicated to the installers. My carpet was installed on top of the flooring that I paid to have removed prior to carpet installation. When the guys were still in my home, I told them that the flooring was supposed to have been removed and I was told ?No, the job is done, you?ll have to call Home Depot? and it was left like that. I called Home Depot and received an email that I was Cc?d on that was sent to COS from the customer service representative . I never heard from anyone. I had to call in to the store again and ask for a manager. I finally heard from someone. She apologized to me and then I was called by the install company. He was very rude and couldn?t get his guys back to my house for another week. This caused an extremely difficult situation for me. I had to postpone listing my house for sale and I had to lose a day of work so that the install crew could come back to my house to rip up the new carpet and pad and remove the flooring that was supposed to be removed prior to the install. Then, they used the previously stretched carpet and tried to lay it back down. I am not happy with any of this. It was extremely frustrating and I do not plan to use Home Depot in the future.

We were very disappointed with the group who did our install. They left a mess, their van broke down and had to cancel after a very lengthy wait for install and they have installed over an active outlet in the floor. Very unhappy with the whole crew.
