I've been a contractor in the Altoona, Pa area for most of my life! Save yourself some time and frustration the next time you're in the Altoona Pa. area. Just go to Home Depot because the competition can not compete. Very clean well organized, well stocked, and the Manager and Associates are the best.

I came to look into some flooring and an associate named Ed was very helpful and helped me find the perfect area rug along with 2 outdoor rugs.

Cashier Joseph gets a big thank you for getting our discount applied!! He had to jump through some hoops but he got it done!!

Cindy and Yvonne checked us out and Donnie helped in hardware when there wasn't anyone working in that department.

Moved back to my hometown, Altoona, PA. Bought a house that needed lots of fixtures and flooring. Shopped in person to view flooring choices and went on line for more info. I used the flooring formula in the site to order the right amount for the job. I ordered the amount recommended plus the slight extra amount suggested. Finished the job for five rooms and used a portion of the suggested excess amount. Delivery was on time and I completed the work on schedule. The return of the unopened boxes of flooring with a fast and easy transaction. Very pleased with my Home Depot experience. Will be back for my additional house project needs. I also appreciated the Veteran’s discount that came with a “Thank you” for my service!

Jake from Home Depot- was beyond helpful when it was time for us to load ALL FOUR carts into our trailer. We had several sheets of drywall, plywood, flooring and some doors. We truly appreciate his help and cant thank him enough!

I had some wallpaper and I needed to get paint for the ceiling but I could find the right color to match it. So I asked Brandon in the paint department and he took my wallpaper and pulled the colors from it and made a special color just for me and it matched perfectly and it was beautiful. He was so understanding and nice. I love dealing with him , he is so good with color. If you need paint I suggest you ask for Brandon when you get to the store.

We went to the store for supplies to build our shed. The store had everything we needed, from lumber to screws to hardware. Very well organized store and clean.

I got what I needed and the store is Dog friendly.

We dealt with Debi at the pro desk would highly recommend her for any of your project needs very notability on the products and she would also do follow up phone calls with us we will be using her again in the furture

Angelo went above and beyond to help us. Great guy. And I didn't catch her name, but the young lady with the long curly hair in the carpet section was nice to deal with as well.

Thanks Rick. My tractor is no longer 90 degrees on the inside. Your personality made it very easy for a young black man dressed like a dirty truck driver to come in, explain my needs and accomplish my goal without feeling weird. And the cashier agreed that it's OK to eat junk food before noon! How real is that? Thanks again gang! I'll be back to get additional items for my journey. I always have good luck with Home Depot and today was no exception. I went in looking for cabinets to complete a laundry room make-over. Corey J. assisted me from the start helping me get everything I needed. He helped me get the materials to the check-out, rang them up, and loaded them in my truck! Perfect experience!

Geoff was so incredibly helpful with picking out the type of paint I need for a project! He was very knowledgeable and kind! He also helped me get checked out! Customer service was fantastic and we will definitely go back!!!

Altoona store is really great. Lots of very nice people. We almost always have a pleasant experience, especially with the people who work there. 5 stars for all of them!!

Instead of self check outs, this Home Depot has assisted checkout as described by their own associates. As much or as little, they are always willing to assist, give advice, remind you to register product, and then they wish you luck on your project (which is the reason you are there in the first place).

As I was shopping with our subs for our construction company, a sales associate, Catherine helped us with all of our needs, and was very nice. I told her that she is an excellent sales associate.

We visited the Altoona store on a Friday afternoon. We just needed some molding but ended up looking at plants and some drills. The plant selection was awesome and some great deals. We ran into a gentleman who was putting away some molding and he was very helpful and polite. We then decided to look at drinks and the young woman who assisted us was genuinely pleasant and eager to assist and answer questions. Our cashier was fantastic as well. He took the time to help us apply for a credit card and also let us know about the savings we could get by doing so. By far the best visit we have ever had!

I bought a Traeger Grill and highly recommend home depot for their customer service, assistance, and delivery service.

All sales associates and cashiers were extremely knowledgeable and pleasant. Have always shopped at the Altoona location and have always been impressed with the quality of hard workers. So dedicated which is nice to see.
