This store is highly mismanaged. For a overall better customer experience and help visit the Levittown Home Depot or The Central Islip Home Depot, it’s worth the extra 10 minute drive. Lumber department is a mess nothing is labeled or in the write place the pic shows multiple pieces of plywood pulled out before getting to the correct priced piece.

Store has no staff relying on self. Checkout with one person, overseeing them lines to get out

Nestor from Appliances is an amazing worker and prioritizes his customers! Nestor did everything to make sure the customers expectations were met and exceeded that will politeness and respect! Nestor is a great worker and I will absolutely be shopping at the Bay Shore Home Depot again

I can typically find what I need and the store is usually organized, however my last visit there was quite frustrating. While attempting to use a valid coupon (which I never used) the manager essentially said "its a one time use coupon" and dismissed my claim. 1) It was never used 2) This isnt the first time a coupon has not worked from Home Depot, after reading the fine print there was nothing stated which would have restricted the use of the particular coupon which was presented 3) Jim should come out and talk with a customer instead of having an assistant manager discuss the matter. While things are generally in stock, it does not help when things are locked up with no one to unlock them for purchase. While I understand that certain high value items are targets for theft, I dont understand why all those items are not just kept at the front for check out. Here is a walk through of trying to buy 12 gauge electrical wire. 1) Find someone who working in the department 2) They get paged 3) Wait around for someone to come 4) Immediately get escorted to the front for purchase 5) If you need to get additional things they put it to the side at one of the cashiers register. When you go to pay, have to wait for the exact person the cable was dropped off to. Heaven forbid that person went to lunch. The whole process is ridiculous. Even thermostat cable which is $20 is locked up.

Everyone was so nice to me

Recently purchased appliances for a new kitchen. Nestor in appliances was amazing! Knowledgeable , patient , friendly and professional!

I just made a very large purchase at this store, and it was an extremely pleasant experience because of Leo, the salesman in large appliances. He was so knowledgeable and helpful. Also I love the Bayshore store more than other stores around me, they just see to have more stock

I'm writing this note tell you a little about two individuals at your Bay Shore Ny location. A gentleman named Nestor who worked in blinds last year and a young lady her name was Ruth, who I think she maybe his boss. My wife and I ordered some custom blinds there last year in January 2023. We went back to order another set of custom blinds for another door, and we were glad to see our friend Nestor sitting at the desk. He is so good at what he does. Also sitting at the other desk was a young lady named Ruth, I think she was his boss, she was doing things for us pertaining to our conversations with Nestor that we didn't even know she was taking care us along with Nesto. I just want to let you know those two are the nicest people to work with my wife and I have met. They deserve kudos for the great job they have done for us. Our custom blinds order last January the was so easy and done by Nesto and our purchase the other day at Home Depot on Wednesday 01/17/2024 was just as easy and painless because of Nestor and Ruth. They are 2 great people to have on your team.

Great customer service

I had the best experience with the employees. The appliance dept at Bayshore Home Depot is the Place to go. They can help you find whatever size appliance you need. Gave me such time and attention. It's not my closest Home Depot, but it's my first choice of where to go.

I purchased two house plants and I loved the variety.

Asked for help replacing a light switch that broke the employee said I don’t know anything I’m not an electrician went to talk to his friend and walked away. My mom went to see if anyone else can help and nobody ever came.

Mircello in the paint department goes above and beyond to help all customers. She helped me tremendously and I watched her take the same care of others while waiting for my paint .

We had an excellent salesman who walked us through every step of our project until we had everything we needed.

My experience was wonderful Nestor helped me and he was so good with positive energy the store was clean and organized.

Zach was very friendly and went above and beyond finding the misplaced Milwaukee stapler I needed.

I was trying to make an online purchase and I was getting so confused. I went to the store Christine Dubiel helped me and all was piece of cake. That was like a $4,000.09 piece of cálele. Lol

This was my first shopping at this location and Jaden went above and beyond with this experience. I will definitely reach out to this location again.

They ordered me wrong windows - caused me a lot of inconveniences and expense.

Judy in paint was able to do what 6 other people could not do in 5 minutes.

Good to find customer reps in the HD that still take their time with customers and our craziness. Erica was patient and kind to go over all my concerns with my PRO account. As a line was building she reassured me that everything is ok. Thank you Erica.

I need directions to rebate

I had to pick up some supplies for work which I wasn’t familiar with and I was in a rush and the employees at this store was beyond helpful. I was asked by 4 separate store associates if I needed help and specifically Deborah helped me with finding all of my products very quickly. At checkout, I realized I forgot something after paying and David stayed with my purchased items so I could run back quickly to get the missing product. It was so helpful to have these 2 employees there to assist with getting me what I needed, I made sure to thank them both as I was so appreciative and impressed with the service I received. This was a change for me as over the last 2 years I’ve had to shop at Home Depot often. This has been my best experience yet and a huge improvement from recent visits!!

I arrived at a busy time of day and an incredible employee by the name of Arthur was super awesome and dropped down a pallet from the overhead with a forklift so I could purchase something. Talk about going above and beyond. Super clean store and fully stocked, highly recommend this location.

No one is willing to grab an item from the top shelf and they refuse to help find items. Avoid this store and go else where. I’ve had so many bad experiences here, that today I finally had enough and needed to write this review. The item I needed was not heavy and was small, the employees just rather tell you they’re sold out when I can clearly see the item on the top shelf. The ladder was 50’ away and still they didn’t take a minute to go up the ladder to get the item I needed with 29 in stock.
