My husband and I are renovating an older house we live in and our back porch is extremely large and not well built. We hired a couple of skilled contractors to fix this project with the stipulation we would purchase all the materials and have them at the house ready for them. When we arrived to the store, we were greeted by Kristen and when I showed her our material list, she promptly typed everything into the computer and generated a list with the location of where everything was located for our convenience. I explained to her my physical limitations as I recently did a number on my back and asked if there were anyone available to assist us in loading all the lumber onto the cart and into our trailer. Luckily for me, there were a couple of gentlemen who walked up, took the list from Kristen and did exactly what was needed to be done. One gentleman, who I am pretty sure was a manager, instructed two other gentlemen to begin loading the material from the cart to our trailer. All in all, a trip that would have taken myself and my husband, in full physical health, 3 hours minimum to complete, we were driving on our way in an hour and a half. I am so thankful to the staff for their assistance. This was the best experience I have ever had at an Alabama Home Depot.

Lately I've had to stand in line in the garden section for as much as a half hour to check out. Also, Home Depot has changed their policy on military discounts and now, if you qualify, you have to bring their app up on your phone and navigate to the QR code so they can read it at the checkout register. The last time I was there, the young lady at the checkout could not get her price gun to recognize the QR code and wound up just forcing the discount manually at the register. This was holding up the line and many people were waiting. This is a very poor business practice when all I have to do at other stores is simply show my military ID card to get the discount. There happen to be a lot of active duty and retired military in our community, so this will happen often at this store.

I can't believe how excited I am about the good customer service that I received yesterday at the Daphne, AL, Home Depot. In a time when a lot of employees in business establishments are walking around looking at their phones, hiding in a corner or peeping at their phone while checking customers out, Daniel was different. He immediately came to my rescue, was knowledgeable, helpful, patient and kind. He was persistent in helping me locate the right product that I needed.

I worked with Bud, Tiffany and Lawrence to purchase tile. They were great and very helpful!

I have visited this store several times over the past few weeks and Bud, Chris, Marcus, Mike, Tatum, Topher, and Pat were the most helpful and friendly. I live in Mobile but drive across the bay to shop at this store because of the consistent helpful and friendliness of the staff. It's always a pleasant experience and it is much appreciated.

Even though this store is usually lacking what the other stores have for the electrical section, I prefer coming here because of people like Debbie, Ruth, Gwen, Kristin, Bob, Lee, and Diane.

We found Lucy to be hardworking and resourceful She found what we needed and looked for the best prices We are now hoping there are no glitches with installation

My husband and I had a great experience shopping at Daphne Home Depot. Lucy was quick to ask to help us. We got in and out in 45 minutes ordering our new dishwasher and microwave. Thank you so much.

I needed to buy a fridge and washer/dryer. Bud was great - so friendly and helpful. He helped me save some serious cash. Thanks Bud, I owe ya!

Lucy, assisted us with buying new appliances for our kitchen. She was very kind and patient. Everyone is usually nice and helpful, but Lucy was great! We enjoyed talking with her and will be back for further purchases.

Every time I come in the store, I am greeted by the ladies at service desk.

I was so happy with my new Ryobi string trimmer until it stopped working. The good news? I was able to exchange it with hardly any trouble. I am happy with all my Ryobi tools; drills, saws, garden tools and my wonderful new battery powered blower! Way to go Home Depot!

I bought the white Peebles yesterday

I purchased 2x4x16 treated lumber on line and within the hour you guys had it ready. When I arrived I gave the clerk my order number and in a couple of minutes I had my lumber

If you can, use the Foley location. We thought Daphne was more convenient this time because we were already in the area. Geographically, it was. As far as customer service and ease of shopping, it was not. The cashier in garden center told me I was wrong, when, actually, the signage was. The blonde woman whom I assume was a supervisor was curt and insisted we load our 50 bags of rock one by one into our truck bed. The pallet contained 51 bags. I told her it would make more sense, and be easier on everyone, if she just took the one bag off and loaded the remainder—pallet and all. She wouldn’t allow it, and after I walked away, she complained to my husband that I made her lose count. Not only did my husband have to load the rock bag by bag, but now we get to unload it bag by bag. She didn’t seem capable of grasping or accepting recommendations on logistics and sense—both things being important in a supervisor role. The Foley location was friendly and simply loaded our first order of 50 bags still on the pallet. And they had no problem coming to that sense on their own. Product itself is great!

I have purchased two hot water heaters and have very satisfied with my purchase.

I bought plants from lawn and garden. I bought flowers Lamb's Ear, Kangaroo toes, cactus and a feathery fern plant. Went back and bought a cactus called a Crown of Thorns. My yard is really looking good with these beautiful plants in the pots I bought at Home Depot. The staff are so friendly, it is like chatting with an old friend.

Customer service was very good, friendly and helpful also knew a lot about products.

I purchased a Keefer pair tree that was dormant when put into the ground. I am happy to report that after three weeks, it is now leafing out beautifully. I'm proud that I chose this product from Home Depot and look forward to shopping there again very soon.
