I needed some tools and supplies for personal as well as business and as always was greeted, served, and left happy with my purchases as well as the investment cost for my purchases.

I needed a moving truck and Penske trucks are the best so I got it from Home Depot. I played with the locations from where I would be moving and found out I could pick up the same truck at the same store but if the leaving location (my hometown) was different from where I picked up the truck I could save money. Moving from gainesville, the truck and tow dolly would have been almost $1300. When I checked to see how much it would be from Newberry, I saved over $300 and still picked up the truck at the same location.

Was very happy to find a chain for my chain saw at Home Depot. Wasn't sure they'd have it, but did and saved me another drive to another hardware store.

This Home Depot is always a welcoming store. The clerks are knowledgeable about the locations of products and helpful in finding them. The clerks are attentive to the needs of the customers. The parking lot is close to the store's entryway, and the shopping carts are available and easy to return to the cart holds. All is all, a great store!

My favorite and most helpful Hardware Store in Gainesville, FL. I have been a loyal customer for many years. Store is clean and organized, employees are very knowledgeable and helpful. Some of the staff have been there since the doors opened! Thank you for the wonderful atmosphere to shop in. It is like being a part of the joy that surrounds the store and the willingness to help/assist every customer that are smiling for all the positive atmosphere. Keep up the GOOD WORK and STAFF!

This store is the worst I have ever experienced. There is little customer service and knowledge by employees and no one will go any extra for a customer. Their answer is”we can’t do that it is Home Depot policy” I will only shop at Lowe’s or ACE in the future. You all lost a long time client. You all should really re-evaluate your employee practices and customer service policy. Avoid this store!! They just don’t care about their customers.

AT THE TIME OF MY VISIT, THERE WAS ONLY ONE REGISTER INSIDE OPEN WITH SEVERAL PEOPLE IN LINE. I WAS OFFERED TO GO TO THE SELF CHECKOUT, BUT BECAUSE I HAD A FULL GARDEN CART WITH OTHER MICELLANEOUS ITEMS, I DID NOT WANT TO RING UP MY ORDER ON MY OWN. I EXPRESSED THIS WITH THE CASHIER AT SELF CHECK OUT AS WELL AS TO MY HUSBAND. AN EMPLOYEE OVER HEARD AND IMMEDIATELY WENT TO A REGISTER AND OFFERED TO RING UP MY ORDER. SHE WAS VERY FRIENDLY, POLITE AND EFFICIENT! I AM A PAST EMPLOYEE OF HOME DEPOT (I WORKED AT #2506 IN MD FOR 14 YEARS) AND WAS HAPPY TO SEE THAT THE WONDERFUL CUSTOMER SERVICE STILL EXISTS AT HOME DEPOT TODAY!! THANK YOU ESTEFANIA!!! :)

The sales associate Diana was so helpful and went the extra mile to find an item in stock that was very large and had to get a forklift to help get it

We are very fortunate to have HD #0270 close to home. Staff is very friendly and helpful. Store is organized, tidy and well stocked up with plenty of options on various items. We do appreciate the military discount which is a great way to thank our military service women and men for their service and dedication to our country. Keep up the great work!

Standard of no service continues to prevail. HD has taken zero responsibility during the Covid crisis, simply allowing customers to do as they like endangering others in the process.

The store was clean and I'm glad I went on Sunday evening. Wesley in Plumbing was friendly and helpful and let me know on the phone the model water heater I wanted was the last one in stock. He reserved it for me and inspected it for damage. None found. Alex at Customer Service was very efficient, attentive and helpful. He set up my account and gave me the appropriate discounts. Then he put my item in will call for my plumber to pickup. Well done guys!

Has a better selection of materials and stock than the other location in Gainesville. Always has a clean premises and friendly workers that are willing to help you find something.

Diana was the cashier. She was very friendly and efficient. The store had exactly what I needed. Great shopping experience.

Awesome customer service

I did not like that shoppers were not required to wear face masks. The employee explained that they are not allowed to say anything to customers about wearing masks. However, stores like Hobby Lobby will stop customers at the door and if they are not wearing a face mask they are asked to put one on or are turned away.

This Home Depot usually has everything I need when I have a home repair project coming up or any gardening needs. I sometimes have to call ahead to check their stock, but if you use their online store before shopping, that will cut down your time at the actual store since the inventory is typically up-to-date. Returns are fast and easy (if you have a receipt or if it's a Home Depot product) plus there are always friendly, helpful employees around to ask for assistance. The bathrooms are clean enough and general upkeep of the store is 9/10 (can't be too critical if too many customers are messy). A bonus perk of this Home Depot location is if you're not in a rush to leave and you enjoy watching ducks, visit the muscovy ducks that are hanging out across the street at the large pond.

A salesperson walked me to the item and helped find it. He was knowledgeable when Iasked a question about it. I didn't notice his name. I will make a point to notice names from now on.

This store has practically everything that I want. And it is very well loaded with good items. I do have a slight problem with Bermuda grass sod. They come and disappear fast.

I can always count on good products and good service at this very pleasant Home Depot!
