Today was extremely busy at the Home Depot in Hempstead due to it being memorial day weekend. The cashier was extremely friendly. I was greeted on my way in and on my way out to my car with a very heavy load I was stopped by one of the employees who asked me to pull my car around so he could help me load up my car. This is definitely not the norm and I was extremely grateful! I have had nothing but excellent customer service from the Home Depot on Fulton Avenue in Hempstead!

I worked for this company from 1991 till 2000. This store in particular the Hempstead Home Depot has consistently had great staff, great in stock conditions, and a great overall shopping experience

I bought a stove two years ago and the oven part is not functioning. For that I would not buy any appliances from Home Depot.

I went to another hardware store and I wasn’t able to get the help that I needed. I came to Home Depot and they was able to help me.

Not a pleasant experience with store personnel, one employee was joking with another employee about "yelling at customers" when I was exiting the store, yuck, yuck. They are apathetic and unimpressive.

The cashier saw me staring at the self checkout. She called me over and pleasantly chatted with me while she was checking out my items.

The installers did a great job. I am please with the result. Though at the beginning they were moving slow. The job took 5 days .

Some employee are not pleasant, not willing to help and show distaste when asked to help. One employee name Ben got nasty with customers and pulled his gate pushing a customer’ a cart out of the way while the customer was still holding the cart. Ben complained that he had to work too and customers are preventing that. His sentiments were that customers are stopping him from working by entering his area when he needs to get things done.. he was upset that customers were not trying to find things themselves but asking employees for help. Ben was having a rough day and boy did he let us know. The manager was told about the situation but she didn’t even ask who the employee was.

Love Home Depot,they do have some stuff a little pricey but they do have all the stuff that i needed for my garden.Amazing Customer Service and everything else went smoothly with my purchase

Sometimes we pro customers may be having a not so bright day. And one smile, one good greeting from the first stop of the day can change everything. This was my experience, that one greeting from a professional associate at home depot did not only enhance my purchasing experience, but also made my day. Cheers Alicia thank you for being a PRO.

Home Depot sales representatives always happy to helped

NEEDED TO PURCHASE A GE DOUBLE OVEN AND THE ASSISTANCE OF THE CUSTOMER SERVICE PEOPLE WAS OUTSTANDING.

I came in for a simple return and purchase and had a very positive experience. I was assisted by Terran in customer service and she greeted me with a great big smile and asked me to continue shopping at this location. There should be more employees like her.

I was trying to buy a charcoal grill I was told that they where 9 grills but on the selling floor there where 2 scratch ones but they had more in the back but there was none but they ran the transaction and wanted to give me the scratch one when I specifically said that I didn't want the scratched one. Waisted my time about an hour. I want to the Elmont store they show me the display one but they had more but it could be anywhere and I found it in the garden myself it was cover in plastic no scratches at course when I got it home it was a returned item that was used how can some one put something like this one the selling floor it was greasy inside. Is there no more work ethics, on how people work anymore.

Sometimes when you go a little bit Father and I’ll courteous it is more than welcome to buy the customers I’m in customer service and I know that being courteous is not something Everyone does 95% of the employees at the store do it

Went to get a piece of wood cut, worker, named I believe Norman said Do it yourself. I said I did not want to cut the wood myself and could he get someone to cut the wood of me. He walked me over to the location where the wood was able to be cut and again said Do it yourself. I want to look for a manager and found a supervisor that I assume talked to this person, because he then begrudgingly, cut my wood. He was very rude and unprofessional throughout the whole process.

Don't expect to find anyone to help you in this department, i found one guy on in the area and he was swamped trying to help many. check out was a disaster, ONE LONG LINE, and the self check out line was bogged down with people NOT knowing how to operate the machine and no help to help them/ Frustrating at best

This morning I was unsure about a product I needed to purchase. A store representative, Dawn, helped look up the item and direct me to where it was located.

I'm happy with the customer service I recieve here.

I have been be satisfied with the purchases made at this location. The products were not cheaply made and have been functioning well so far. The customer service is fantastic, particularly when the Manager Lakizzy or Audrey is working. Knowledgeable, courteous, and friendly, this is why I go there.

I get satisfied every time, with both service and product.

Bruce Floor Cleaner is a product, I've used for over 20 yrs. I have laminate floors and this product really does the job of getting the floors clean.
