Each time I go into the Hermiston Home Depot, I am pleasantly reminded of the level of customer service that all business should strive for. Everyone is always pleasant and helpful. The last time we were helped by Tim Renegar and he was an excellent salesman who went above and beyond.

My thoughts on items are very good, for buy other items , is for creativeness with continuous ideas.

Both josh G. and Tyler were very helpful, even though the inventory shown was not there.

Valerie located my item on the computer and Jose helped me locate it.

George in hardware was very helpful in locating product that was up in the overheads and in the shelf, and cashier Jaqwaya was very polite and provided excellent customer service

I was in the paint isle and was testing paint when an associate was very rude and told me to stop testing paint because I should know better. When I asked to speak to a manager she refused. I believe she was on the MET team.

Requested assistance in loading potting soil in the garden area. No one showed up to help me. This is an ongoing issue with this store. There is rarely anyone available to assist in loading items in the garden area.

I can tell you nothing about the store experience because I placed a phone order for two appliances for my home in La Grande. These are somewhat complicated orders and Jackie has been very accommodating in these times that it's so hard to find the appliance you need. I work as an appliance specialist at store number 4720 so I know exactly what she's up against on a busy Memorial Day sale weekend. Please make sure that Jackie is acknowledged for this.

Goto a different store! I've seen a serious decline in the store quality, cleanliness, in-stock, and knowledgeable staff. I was lied to and told they didn't have product. They just didn't want to take the time to get it for me. I was persistent and got part of what I needed at least. I was told "we cannot stock everything and I should shop online"... so, patrons... from the mouth of their own... shop somewhere else!

I ordered product that was not ordered correctly and then was told that they could not do anything about it. It is bad service to have part of a project completed and cannot get what was paid for in 3 different trips. They take your money and do not follow thru on doing the job that they promise. Then you get left standing at the front desk because no one wants to deal with the mess that they made of it. They say they will call and do not. I will never go back once I get this mess cleaned up.

The only reason most people shop here is because it is the only big box store in our area

The store is clean, well organized and well stocked. The employees are unfailingly polite, cheerful and engaged. I noticed that customers ranged from clueless first-timers to obviously seasoned contractors and all were treated with equal respect. I would recommend this store to anyone from do it yourself neighbors to pro's getting quality products for their construction projects.

I asked for help and the worker called another worker and told me to go outside to the other worker? Whilst that worker was with a customer. And my items are inside???... I just needed help and to be shown where my items were. Why would I need to go outside to ask?

This store is consistently outstanding! The associates have always been helpful, friendly and courteous. The only down side is the recent changes to improve loss prevention. The associate who helped us get a tool apologized for the need to get a key to unlock the new, in the box tool we wanted, and also the need to carry the itm to the register for us. He was very nice, friendly and courteous. We completely understand the importance of keeping items from walking out the door unpaid for. And commend your team for not being grumpy about the needed extra steps. Our thanks to a great team!

My favorite hardware store! It is always stocked up on whatever I seem to need. The nursery meets with my wife's approval! (That's a big one!) Prices are fair. Parking for Vets and handicapped. Friendly and very helpful, and knowledgeable, employees. Online ordering is a snap! Oh, yes, and I've never found any dust in the store (except once). Need I say more?!

The employee we interacted with in the kitchen appliances/countertops dept was amazing, very knowledgeable and we left very satisfied with our purchases, huge thank you to Tim for all you do!!

If you need help it can be a challenge to find someone. It's not a bad place to shop if you know what you need and have lots of time if anything needs ordered.

Lack of employees to offer help had to wait over 15 minutes and no help arrived even after asking an employee he said he'd call someone over to help load a barbecue grill in my cart finally gave up and asked a passing by customer

Home Depot in Hermiston has always provided exceptional customer service and creates a very welcoming, professional, helpful atmosphere. I appreciate going in there and getting the help I need right away, and always with a smile on their faces. Thank you!
