Typical big box store visit. Clean, well stocked in light of today's supply issues, but as in the past when I've come here, no one asked if I needed help, and the only person to greet me was a nice young man in the lot doing shopping carts. Though I live close to this Home Depot, for the last several years I've used the Brighton one as my go-to place to shop. Staff seems friendlier, more helpful, and more plentiful at times.

The Howell store always seems to have what the other stores in our area don't. The folks at the tool rental center are always knowledgeable about the tools and equipment and willing to help. This is a great Home Depot.

I was shopping for garden flowers and plants today. Based on the on-line reviews I checked beforehand, I went to the other big store in town. I was very disappointed there. So, I went to Home Depot. What a difference! I totally have to disagree with the reviews! Home Depot had an excellent selection! And I was very happy with the associates there who were so friendly and helpful. I will always chose Home Depot over the other store in the future.

I prefer the Howell store over the Brighton store, even though the Brighton store is a shorter drive for me. The Howell staff is friendlier and I like the layout of the store over Brighton,

I am much more at home in the grocery store than a home improvement store - but fortunately you have employees like Justin that take that into account and will take care of you. Great experience and so far you have always had everything I've needed - thanks!

The staff was all very nice and asked if I needed help finding what I was looking for, Collin was very helpful especially, he helped show me different potting soil options and pick the best one for my needs! He even helped with loading it into my car! 10/10 customer service skills from this gentleman, definitely will come back in the future as well!

Miquel and Kathleen were very helpful to me today. I had a couple issues with products I had purchased from Home Depot and they went out of their way to make it right.

Warning for anyone returning empties to exchange 5 gallon bottles of water! I was treated poorly by the cashier at check-out in the garden area. You have 5 gallon water exchanges at the exit at the front of the store. I put two empties in the receptacle and put two more bottles on my cart, and proceeded to do more shopping in the store, ending in the garden area outside, where I parked and where I purchased two bags of vigoro river pebbles. The cashier basically accused me of stealing the bottles and lying about the exchanges to pay a lower price for "exchange." I volunteered to get out of line and step aside while her manager reviewed the video tape to see me walking in with empty bottles and exchanging. "No" she said, "Next time just find someone and tell them you are exchanging so we know." Um, the bottles are at a busy EXIT, with staff all around helping other customers. I don't have time to track them down and they don't have time to do such a silly thing. I was super embarrassed at check-out, like I was stealing when I was not!

The store has the friendliest helpful staff, there's always sufficient stock, and the prices are clearly marked for all items. I pre-shop around online and usually find Home Depot to have better prices than other home improvement stores. I like how the online site even tells you the aisle and bay no. and approx. how many of the item they should have in stock. Way to go Home Depot!

Great store and wonderful sales person Christine Maslak in the appliance department that helped us with our fridge purchase. Everyone at the store was very friendly and helpful.

Excellent customer service! I came in late to get a new sump pump and had no idea what i needed. Gary in plumbing was so kind and helpful. I left with everything I needed and now i have a running sump pump! Thanks Home Depot and thanks Gary!

Anna from kitchen design really helped me with our kitchen remodel. From picking out the cabinets, layout, where to put all of the spacers, and countertops. She really went above and beyond guiding me through the entire process. I can’t wait until our kitchen is completed. Anna has made the design process fun and exciting instead of daunting and scary.

It looks like this home depot is a one man show in the paint department. While there were 4 supervisors watching behind the customer service desk, one person was helping 7 people at once. The paint guy did an excellent job!!! If it was my store, I would make sure my supervisors were helping mix paint. Not just standing around.
