I am always in need of something for my home. This Home Depot is my first choice and always find what I need. Recently bought blinds for my home and they work perfectly.

I came in to buy a replacement blind for one I had purchased there 2 years ago that broke. I had every intention of buying a new one, the same one and through Debbie I learned it was covered with a 3-year warranty. Since the company no longer makes corded blinds I had to get one that was cordless. It was twice the price of the other. Through Debbie and Sarah Hancock's fantastic customer service I have a new one coming and I was credited for the old one in full. They really spent a lot of time and phone calls and I have not seen that much effort put out by a store and a long time. They show that they care and that they value you as a customer and as a person

I come to Home Depot every spring for garden supplies and if there is anything I need to make repairs in my home

This store has the items we need and wonderful, polite and helpful people

I have been going to the Independence store for years. Aaron and Hunter in the paint department have been VERY helpful when I go there. Hunter even called another store to find paint for me that they were out of. Deted in Blue Springs was also VERY helpful when I went there. Great guys all around.

Steve has now helped me twice in lumber. Always friendly and polite. Measures twice and cuts once just like the saying goes. I look forward to seeing him when I’m in the store! Excellent customer service!!

Went in to get a few tools, one being a saw that was locked away. Asked a nearby cashier for assistance so she hatefully called over the intercom several times and no one showed up so after 30 minutes I went searching for someone else to help. Thankfully this guy cared and went to physically find the apparently only two people in the store with this “master key”. Found out that one person was on break but conveniently they both showed up so her break must have ended. There was also another customer waiting for assistance with the same thing waiting with me. Then the lady watching self check out had to scan my saw and coughed all over it and kept blowing her nose and then touching the check out screen that I then had to touch to check out my other items. She did not sanitize her hands and did not cover her mouth when she coughed. I’m disgusted and will never go to this location again. This is why pandemics happen, send that lady home!

Bought a Huskey rechargeable flashlight, VERY bright, easy to turn on and off, just the right size too

I'm always pleasantly surprised at the friendliness and kindness of the employees at this store.

I needed to return an item for refund. The wait time was 5-10 minutes, but worked out well. Kudos to Pennie! She was very Professional, Knowledgeable, and Personable.. The Trifecta of Customer Service. The process was seamless, which is what I needed for this poor item I purchased a few weeks ago.

We found everything we needed at a great price with friendly customer service!

I had an issue with my deadbolt at home, and had to make a 6AM trip to home depot to buy a new lock. I did not want to get all new keys made, so I knew I needed this new lock to be re-keyed (which is a skill I know nothing about). Despite this being at opening time, and their normal "key person" being gone, the helpdesk (whose name I sadly did not get) called for Wallace to help, and he went out of his way to help me when most places would have made me come back. Traci the cashier was also great. I have been utterly ignored at other stores like this, and this was the exact opposite.

I went to use the military discount but was told by the cashier that because I am not a disabled veteran I am not eligible. The store policy states all military veterans which includes me, an army veteran.

There was so much help everywhere to be found today it was wonderful, I love going to these places and having someone on hand to help me with questions that I needed answered, thank you so much.

Lots of choices for tools and friendly staff

This is my go to store and close to my work. We also use the store for work related items such as lumber, tools etc. Never had a problem finding items I need.

Hard to expect great customer service anymore but Chandler is up and coming manager material. He makes the shopping experience less intimidating for a new female, homeowner building their tools. I will be back!
