Garden in Lagrange closed once again
Unfortunately I have to go to Home Depot as it is closer to my home almost every weekend. The Garden registers seem to be closed more than they are open. How does a business expect you to haul 50 lb bags of anything through the entire store to check out. The temp out is 48 degrees not great but over the 40 degree expectation set by Home Depot

    Poor service unprofessional store manager
I went to buy some lime and fertilizer as you can see that wasn't going to happen. I walked in and asked the store manager if they were opening garden so we could check out with a bulky purchase she stated no. I have always been told if the temperature was over 40 it would be open she said no. Whe. I stated I had worked with home depot for many years when did it change she stated she had been there for 20 years and it wasn't opening. A shining example of unprofessional leadership for her people to follow, it is understandable now why the store is in such poor shape.

They beat a disabled vet out of their military discount just in time for Memorial Day
I bought some items from the garden section, nothing on sale and when I went to the cash register, I offered the gift cards I had, along with my Veterans id and phone number. The cashier insisted she needed to do the gift cards first and even commented "oh well, live and learn" related to her knowing better now. The problem is I was cheated out of about 18 dollars. I Went to the newnan store and they were unable to correct the issue with just the receipt. I have spent half the cost of the amount I was cheated out of in gasoline running back and forth to accomplish nothing. Talk about adding insult to injury. I really wanted to get a solar light to shine on my flag for memorial day so I could leave it up over night this weekend, but that is not happening now because I do not have the disposable income to keep tossing into what seems a lost cause. You should be ashamed of yourselves. I am 62 and a disabled veteran. I do not expect special treatment, just not shoddy treatment. This was the lowest point I have ever had in my dealings with Home Depot.

            Employee Abilities and Initiative
Every time I enter this store I see employees roaming around the store. I've become so interested in this problem that I've begun to follow one each time I come in the store, unless I'm in a hurry. I've only begun this initiative in the last few days and I must say, you'd be very disappointed to know what I know. I strongly recommend management roam around as well, checking on what their employees are doing, where are they going, and what their task or job is. I've completed my comments and hope to see an improvement in basic employee requirements.

Cashier Did Not Want To Do Her Job
The Garden Cashier wanted me to go and get a price on an item that did not have a price on it. It is not the Customer's responsibility if an item is missing a price tag.

                  Poor service from employee
My wife and I were looking for a full-length mirror. An employee directed us to the approximate location, but we still couldn't locate mirrors. We asked another employee nearby for directions. He barely looked up, said "I don't know'' and continued on his way. If he were my employee, he would be shown the door.
