Products sold that were used and returned by other customers without being checked by customer service before getting put back on shelf. Customer service employees follow different policies for the same actions. Customer service employees not trained to handle customers for the easiest of transactions. Some Customer service employees have an attitude with customers for returning items. Too long of time for checking out at the store. Lines are long, only 1 or 2 cashiers working registers while others stand around by the self-checkout just incase people need help checking themselves out! Customers do not work at your store, put some more employees on the registers.

First impression is important, the outside of the store and the parking lot is clean and organized, the store is well organized and the staff is very friendly and helpful. I really like their attitude. They all seem to like their job. And your lumber is great quality

I shop at this location all the time. It’s in my home town. On average I go there at least once a week. Staff is always very friendly and helpful. They opened a Menards right across the street. I went in there once and just wasn’t feeling it. I still shop 100% at the mentor Home Depot.

The Pro Desk are outstanding at providing a great shopping experience and getting all the necessary items needed for our order. They also try to make sure we get the best cost Home Depot can offer.

Everything is great. Do find store and Merchandise in isles, making it hard to use carts for shopping. leaves loaded cart of merchandise,moveable stairs.

This store has people that know products and will help you find them. I shop here alot and the electrical products are good price.

The store is well staffed and the depts have knowledgeable people. Most of the employees know the store well enough to guide you when you are searching for something specific.

While the employees and appearance are fine , the delivery service is far lacking. We spent a lot on a washer dryer set only to be told at the end of the transaction that it would be 2 weeks before it was delivered! This is unaccceptable, should have look elsewhere but at that point was to late.

employees are friendly and helpful. bathrooms are nice and clean. almost always find what i need here.

I shop at this store on a regular basis, as I always seem to be needing something. Overall, my experiences at this store have been good. I've bought items from every department. The associates are helpful and friendly. And if there is a product that I am looking for specifically and cant find for some reason, I am always able to locate an associate who is willing to help.

If you are looking for blinds, see Wendy Miles. She is terrific.

I love the mentor Home Depot. It is always clean and orderly. The associates are friendly. And always help with advice for a project. They even help carry product to car and put in car for me. Just wonderful customer service.

This store just can’t get it right. A lot of hellos but no help! For years. Don’t bother. There are other choices. Try a real lumberyard you’ll be amazed at what good service really is

After shopping at the Mentor store for over twenty years, I've always found the associates helpful and I always find what I'm looking for.

Home Depot staff are always available and willing to help. Their installation people are the best. I have used other stores and got less than professional results.

Excellent help received from the employees! A bit of sage advice without telling me that I have to re-build the whole house! As a single woman homeowner, receiving help like that is invaluable!

Customer service is good, but wasn't expecting Home Depot to charge me an extra $300.00 on top of what I had already paid for new counter tops, because the employee forgot to add in measurements for the total. Home Depot did not even compensate me for their error. Very disappointing. Giving Home Depot a rating of three only because I was pleased with the customer service. Not pleased they didn't compensate me in some way like a discount of some sort.

MENTOR CUSTOMER SERVICE DESK IS AN EMBARRASSMENT. I ordered online, a week later I received an email that my order was ready at the customer service desk, went 24 hours later to pick up my order. Employee talked down to me for not calling ahead, even after I showed her the email that indicated it was ready 24 hours ago and was located at the customer service desk and in no way did the email advise me to call ahead. She then told me it would be 10 minutes because it was buried in the back of the store somewhere, then paged me to the front desk (thanks for broadcasting my name to the entire store) and told me it would be at least an hour. Because I firmly told her I was NOT advised to call ahead in spite of her 'educating" me that I should have, she told me I was being difficult and not nice; she continued to insist on lecturing me in that I should have called ahead and she was very intent on driving home this point. I would have to return to the store again because it was not ready (not a big deal, stuff happens). But, she seemed very insistent on chastising me, that I in some way didn't follow some rule of calling ahead when again, I was not advised to call, I was emailed that it was ready. So, I planned to return, not a big deal and again, stuff happens and nothing is perfect. But when I walked away from the service desk to leave and was crossing the threshold about 50 feet away, she yelled "Have a wonderful day" in a very sarcastic tone. This was done loudly in front of customers and other employees behind the desk. This was an extreme embarrassment not only to me but to the customers and employees as well. About 2 minutes later, I went back in the store and asked for a refund on my prepaid order. There's no way I could come back and deal with your service desk after such childish, embarrassing employee behavior. She is an embarrassment to your store and to the Home Depot brand and because of her I will take my business elsewhere because she makes any customer interaction very uncomfortable. The Chardon location is light years ahead of the Mentor store and I will still go there whenever possible.
