I had a great experience with a cashier "Brian Starace" at the washer and dryer department. Brian was very polite and knowledgeable. I was able to locate and purchase my items very quickly due to Brian's knowledge in the department.
However, before I found Brian, I had a bad experience with a Chris in the specialty department who did not want to help me find someone who could help me with the washer and dryer department. Rather than Chris getting up from his chair where he was not busy with another customer, he simply informed me that he was not apart of the washer and dryer department and stated I should go look elsewhere even though I informed Chris that I had already looked several times for an employee in that department. Chris appeared to be having a bad day and it seemed like he did not want to be bothered. I had to ask Chris was his name was since he was not wearing a name tag. I will only return to this store because of the positive experience I had with Brian.

Latonya (Toni) went above and beyond to resolve a computer system glitch that denied me the opportunity to return items purchased online to the store. Though dealing with other customers and colleagues, she never allowed me to feel ignored. She checked two computer systems to ensure that the problem was universal. She kept me apprised of what she was doing and while another attendant sent another client home, telling him to come back when the system had been fixed, Toni called a rep from Homedepot.com and had her complete the returns from her end. I couldn't find the product that I was trying to find. The Home Depot app had 5 of the products listed. I asked an associate if she could help me & she told me that she would be right back. After waiting for 10 minutes, I saw her talking to another store associate at the return area & it didn't seem as if it was related to work. I approach her again to inquire and she told me that she requested that some one assist me - this is a lie as I watched her the entire time. She absolutely did not care. After ten years of coming to this store, the experience is always bad and no improvement.

The store needs more training. Everything could have been avoided. I ordered four washers and four dryers to be delivered on Dec 11. I purchased these appliances on December 1st. The sales rep was great, knowledgeable, and helpful. She up sold on the Samsung appliances and steel hoses. I appreciate her greatly!
On the date of delivery, Dec 11, I called the store around 6:00 pm because no one had yet to show. I was informed that store deliveries are completed up until 8:00 pm, so I paid someone to remain at the address. Of course, no one showed up. I called the next morning and was told my delivery would be expedited for Monday, Dec 16. Thomas, a manager said he would expedite the delivery.
At no point was I informed about the store's delivery policy of only allowing two of the same models to be delivered on the same day. I then Tweeted about the lack of delivery to find out about Home Depot's policy surrounding splitting deliveries of the same items. Again, this would have been fine, if someone would have told me. I still don't know how the order for delivery went through without if this is a policy. At no point was I told my order cancelled and still expected the delivery to arrive on the 16th.
On Sunday, Dec 15th I went back into the store to speak with appliance manager, Carlos. He told me about the policy and said I had to cancel the order. I understood as long as the price would be honored since it was a Home Depot mistake. He said he had to get approval from the store manager and would call me the next business day.
Carlos called Monday, Dec 16th to inform me that my order was officially canceled but the I would have to reorder my appliances by coming into the store. He told me he was working until 6:00 pm. I call around 5:00 pm to confirm he was still in the store because at his request, I would only work with him. I was told Carlos left early but would be able to meet with me at 11:00 am the following day.
Today, I arrived to Home Depot on Rhode Island at 10:40 am. I met with a customer service associate who then escorted me back to appliances after I explained to her the situation. She told me to sit down and that Carlos, Thomas, Shawnti or Travis would around to assist me. I sat down at 10:52 am. At 11:08am I called the store's number while in store. I was transferred to appliances and then told by Crystal that Carlos and the managers were in a meeting and that they would probably not be available for another hour. I greatly, greatly appreciate Crystal's honesty! I shout her out. So, the customer service person sat me down with the expectation that I would wait an entire hour for some manager to appear! I, of course, left the store because I had to return to work.
The absolute disrespect around me waiting an hour is shameful, unprofessional and discourteous. I have still yet to hear from anyone regarding my order and my further compensation and correction of this ongoing issue. Carlos was very patient, straight forward and kind through the ordeal. I would work with him anytime! He agreed that better training need to be done with customer service people. Although I don't plan to shop at this location ever, if I did, I would work with Carlos.
