Went to Home Depot for a quick 10 minute visit, took an hour to get out! Out of 6 associates I dealt, including the manager, only two actually tried to help. All I was trying to find were two 8” inch cinder blocks that I had paid for and the system showed 477 in stock. I spend thousands of dollars yearly in this store and will seek other options being returning. I would have rated zero stars if that was an option.

Visited the South Hill, VA store and was extremely impressed with the friendly and helpful store associates. Especially, Angel in the painting department. She knew exactly where everything we needed was located and was pans happy to help. Greatly appreciated!

The young lady working in paint "Angel" is just a breath of fresh air. She knows her stuff and upon meeting her the first time I didn't doubt her. She's confident, friendly and a pleasure to deal with

Although they didn't have everything we wanted, they made up with their employees. Pamela from paint was amazing and did a great job.

Very rarely do I receive really good customer service, this visit to the South Hill Home Depot was an exception. Helping me seemed to be what they wanted to do! Hats off to seemless customer service!

Had a special order, when it came in it was damaged. The store let me know immediately and went into how do we make this experience great for our customer. The damage was minor, they ga e me two options immediately. Reorder or we can give you a discount, no questions asked. Awesome experience with Katherine Puckett and Rhonda Clary, thank you both!!!

I went into the tile department in the southhill store with a tile install problem of my own doing the sales guy there was really helpfull and cared about what I was going through the dude helpe me find a solution to my problem and I actually felt better about things when I left there thats a rareity these days god bless people who still care about there jobs and what there doing in the workplace

South Hill Home Depot is a super friendly place to shop. The associates and staff there are always willing to help you find whatever you may need and they’re very knowledgeable and respectful.

Visited the store twice in 3 weeks, and the Defiant, model #881 996, brushed nickel, keyed entry door knob, was still out of stock. Not a single one on the shelf. I believe I will have to start going to the Danville store, even though it's a little further.

We went in for a certain item ,we ended up getting more.The selection and prices were great.Loved the selection of Christmas items and gift ideas ,which we got one of.

Still no replacement part after 10 months. No one knows anything nor willing to help resolve any issues.

Staff are not knowledgeable. No one offers to help. Told there would be a discount but associate was unable to figure out how to apply it. Contractor went to pick up order under will call and they were unable to find flooring. Told they had 17 boxes in stock but I was only given 15. Call for 5 days to check status only to find out the order was never placed although I paid $5900 a week prior. Very frustrating experience. Would not recommend.

I have purchased doors with Mr. Sutcliffe on two different occasions! He made me feel like I was dealing with family..... not someone trying to SELL me something I didn't need.

Every visit- this is an approachable, knowledgeable and friendly staff! We will drive extra miles to visit this location because of the care and service they provide!

I have made several various purchases in the past months in different depts. All associates have been helpful. My only concern is I think some of the products have doubled in price and really don't think all that is supply chain issues.

we have purchased a metal gazebo, deck materials and now a new mower recently. all purchases were made glitch free. all deliveries were prompt and complete. the employees are always friendly and helpful with technical knowledge about every trade that i pruchase in.

This store always treats everyone the same and helps everyone leave with what they need. Always very helpful and they make you feel appreciated for shopping with them. I have built and repaired many projects with products from this store

Get your wifi working in the store, u want people to use it but don't have service in your store. Why???

We have ordered a couple items that were shipped to the HD South Hill location for our pick up. Customer service has been excellent every time. It’s always a pleasure when working with the HD Team knowing they have your interest at heart

Customer service with appliances and flooring was above and beyond. Vanessa, Patricia and Shantae (spelling?) are the best I have had the pleasure of working with in a very long time.

Don't expect help from employees if you need help reaching out lifting anything. They will walk past you and watch you struggle without even stopping

I bought several doors for my house, front door with storm and back door. Bruce was able to help me pick out the best and the best price for my rental property in South Hill

This location doesn’t allow anything to be checked out at the customer service desk. Handicap patrons with regular size items should be allow to check out thing near the entrance door out park is far from the exit door and struggling back there the store to get out to the car instead of risking going across the parking lot is just terrible for a disabled patron like me

I presented to Home Depot this morning to purchase a washer and dryer. I had already researched the products on line and knew which set I was going to purchase. The appliance department was extremely busy, but we were addressed and recognized. When the sales associate saw that it was going to be some time she asked for assistance from an associate in the design department. As always I was treated with respect and in a timely manner. Another big purchase at this location and I am very pleased.

This store always has everything we go in for and the customer service has always been a pleasure.
