When I told the cashier the price of this item was too high, she gave me discount to make me happy out of surprise.

Laura is the best! I went to the store to investigate replacement window screens and not only was Laura patient and helpful, she was able to assist me in purchasing the items necessary to make them myself! She explained the process and showed my a DIY youtube and selected the materials and tools I would need and guess what? I successfully completed 6 replacement screens! I couldn't be happier or more proud of myself! Thank you Laura!

I haven't been to Home Depot for about 6 months. Now everything is under lock and key. This used to be a store where it was impossible to get help and took forever to check out. Not any more. The staff are everywhere, very helpful and the checkout process is seamless. I'm not sure when all these changes took place, but I'm very happy to experience this.

I've never found what I needed at a Home Depot or if I did, the quality was poor. Employees seem "beaten" down. Self-checkout is really depressing! The Home Depot business model has really destroyed the hardware industry!

Trash all over the lot, terrible. Also the Self-checkout stands are crammed too close together. and no associates to help or perform your check-out except one associate on the far end of the store. If you are able go to a different Home Depot, they are cleaner!!!

I had a top notch experience at Home Depot today. I was surprisingly amazed with assistance from employee Del Bryant. He greeted me at door, asked what I was shopping for, showed me where it was, helped me load in cart. It was a full service experience. first FABULOUS experience at this store! Home Depot needs to clone Del! Thanks!

The staff that work at this location in the morning are fantastic. George, Jenny and Johnny and Mr. Dell are all fantastic with their customer service. I always know if I find one of them I’m going to get whatever project I need completed.

My overall experience was great! Several employees assisted me. Laura at the Doors area was attentive and knowledgeable. She was very personable. I would certainly return to this location.

Everything is locked up and it's very frustrating.

My mother and I we went to 3 Home Depot stores close to our home. We were looking for baskets for our plants two didn’t have them a the other store had one but they were broken. When we came to this one we found what we needed and the baskets were in place and not broken!

I’m a high-end general contractor along the Grizzly Peak Arlington corridor from North Berkeley to El Cerrito. I’ve been coming to the store for years. They’ve pretty much given up on customer service and courtesy. Pretty much never able to complete a project because of the lack of complete stock & the absence of competent departmental employees. If you know they’ve got what you need and you’re able to get it and load it yourself, it’s fine. If you need help, you’re pretty much on your own

I bought a Frigidaire gallery from here last month. So far very nice. Staff nember was very helpful in explaining through the ordering process in the store.

2-3 people working 12-14 self-checkout registers. Not able to help with my broken machine, were not helpful giving me my 10% military discount. They were too distracted to help.

My husband and I found the employee Deneen in garden center very friendly and extremely helpful. The young men loading our merchandise into the car were pleasantl and accommodating. We also found Norman in the electrical department very knowledgeable and helpful. We were treated like VIPs.

I recently had a great checkout experience after purchasing a large amount of lumber. I got lucky because the checkout/cashier, Christianah, was caring, considerate, helpful and friendly. She knows her jog but also but also likes the customers. That made my shopping experience wonderful. Employees like that help the shopping experience and make Home Depot a great store.

Roberto was extremely helpful in finding the items I wanted to purchase, which were locked up, and helped me take advantage of some savings that made my project possible. Roberto was exceedingly friendly and knowledgeable and generous.

It's now Difficult to buy with the wait for lock down items. Clerk has to walk each item to cashier while we wait for our turn to be walked up with our item. Please, just scan our DL, or photo my face and item. We're not the ones stealing.

Purchased custom shutters and blinds. Destiny the manager provided excellent service on my order and walked my merchandise to the car. Michelle was so helpful answering questions about blinds I purchased. Well trained friendly staff. I only go to the El Cerrito Home Depot for my home improvement needs.

Brian REALLY took care of us! The item we wanted wasn't available in a box - only Pre-made - which wasn't going to fit in our vehicle. On top of that, we had a very tired one year old who was losing it, creating additional stress. Brian recognized we were feeling a bit hopeless and stressed and was able to find an alternative product that perfectly met our needs. He truly went above and beyond - even getting us a cart and helping us get the item to the check out line. SO appreciative! Made a huge difference in our experience. Defintely our favorite home depot in the East Bay area.

Excellent customer service from Marcela at the paint counter. He was professional, courteous and kind, listened to my needs, and took care of my request immediately - despite his colleague, stating what I needed couldn’t be done. Thank you and great work!

Great Experience n the Store

This pro desk is amazing! There is always people available to help with your transactions very fast with a very nice attitude. This is my favorite store and I’m there almost everyday. The only thing I would demand is coffee for pros! Thanks Maria, Gisele, Jack and Angel!

I had an excellent experience ordering custom vertical shade from Deyna who is the sales associate. She's very knowledgeable, personable and professional. Made my purchase very easy and seamless.

After many years of indifferent, unfriendly, and unhelpful interactions at this store, I amvery happy to say, that in recent years, it has really changed. Everyone I have encountered in the last couple of years has been extremely helpful, friendly, and respectful. So, if you have a bad image about this store, may I suggest you give it another try? I think you will be pleasantly surprised.

This store can get very busy. Employees are very knowledgeable and quick to respond to your questions or concerns.
